- Clean Without Compromise: A More Excellent Way
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit who is in you whom you have received from God?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19 (NIV) Our homes should be places of peace. Our sanctuaries of rest and refuge. Yet many of the products we use daily to clean and freshen our homes are quietly polluting the very spaces where our families live, eat, and sleep. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe that true cleanliness is not found in chemical scents or artificial shine. It is found in simplicity, purity, and stewardship. It’s about caring for our families and our earth as God intended. Let’s take a closer look at what is really in the average household products and how you can swap them for safe and effective alternatives that bring peace back to your home. The Hidden Toxins in Multi-Purpose Cleaners Multi-purpose cleaners are marketed as all-in-one solutions for busy homes, but their ingredient lists often read like a chemistry experiment. Common ingredients include ammonia, chlorine, formaldehyde, and synthetic fragrances, all of which can irritate the skin, eyes, and lungs. Many are also endocrine disruptors, meaning they interfere with your body’s hormones and can have long-term health consequences. Even more concerning, there are over 3,000 ingredients that are considered safe in the United States but banned or restricted in other countries due to their known toxicity. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” — Hosea 4:6 (KJV) When we know better, we can do better, and that is exactly why Kingdom Come Home created our Multi-Purpose Cleaner, available in four natural fragrances designed to cleanse your home without compromising your health: Abundance Abundant Life Good Fruit Field of Flowers Each is free from harmful toxins, chemicals, phthalates, parabens, and other synthetic ingredients, offering a fresh, clean scent that glorifies creation rather than fighting against it. The Truth About Air Fresheners Few products are more deceptive than air fresheners. While they promise to refresh your home, they often mask odors with a cocktail of volatile organic compounds that can cause headaches, allergies, and even affect the nervous system. Many commercial air fresheners release phthalates, a class of chemicals linked to hormone disruption and developmental issues in children. They do not cleanse the air…they contaminate it. “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” — Genesis 2:15 (NIV) Our call to stewardship includes caring for the environment inside our homes. That is why Kingdom Come Home Fragrant Room Mist are available in five pure scents that are crafted with essential oils and safe plant-based ingredients — so you can breathe deeply without worry. Abundance Abundant Life Back To The Garden Babes In The Garden Field of Flowers They bring a touch of nature’s purity into your home, the way God designed fragrance to be experienced. The Toxins Hiding in Floor Cleaners The products that touch your floors also touch your family, especially children and pets who crawl or play close to the ground. Many mainstream floor cleaners contain solvents, bleaches, and synthetic preservatives that leave behind invisible residues. These can irritate the skin, lungs, and even disrupt immune function. That is why Kingdom Come Home created Abundance Floor Cleaner, a plant-based non non-toxic formula that gently removes dirt and grime without harsh chemicals. It leaves behind only the natural, refreshing scent of a clean home that feels truly abundant. “A faithful man will abound with blessings.” — Proverbs 28:20 (ESV) Your home should be a blessing, not a battleground of chemical exposure. Laundry Detergent and Dryer Sheet Dangers Traditional laundry detergents often contain sodium lauryl sulfate, optical brighteners, and synthetic fragrance, which linger in fabrics and release fumes as you wear them. Dryer sheets are even worse because they are coated with quaternary ammonium compounds and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives that cling to your clothes and enter your skin. Your laundry should not be a source of toxins. It should be a source of comfort. Kingdom Come Home’s laundry essentials make that possible: Soap Nuts God’s original laundry soap, grown from the Sapindus tree. These natural nuts contain saponins, a gentle foaming agent that lifts away dirt and oils without synthetic suds or harsh detergents. Each handful can be reused several times, and they come with a small bottle of pure essential oil for optional scenting. They are 100 percent biodegradable, safe for sensitive skin, babies, and pets, and completely free from the toxins found in commercial detergents. Washed Clean Laundry Detergent A plant-based concentrated formula available in White Citrus, French Lavender, and Chamomile are crafted to cleanse naturally without residue or irritation. Beloved New Zealand Wool Dryer Balls The purest sustainable way to soften clothes. Add a few drops of your favorite Kingdom Come Home essential oil for a naturally fresh scent. These swaps help remove thousands of unnecessary chemicals from your home, bringing you one step closer to a toxin-free lifestyle. When we choose clean God honoring alternatives, we are doing more than switching brands; we are choosing to honor the temple God gave us and the earth He entrusted to our care. “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV) From your kitchen counters to your laundry room, you can take simple, faithful steps toward a healthier home. - Strength from the Inside Out: God’s Design for Healthy Bones
“He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:2–3 Our bones are living, breathing structures created by God to carry us through life. They give us strength, balance, and the ability to move freely through His creation. Yet just like the rest of our bodies, our bones need nourishment and care to stay strong. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe that bone health is not only physical, it is spiritual. It is about honoring the body that God has given us and tending to it with the same reverence that we offer our hearts. A Holistic Approach to Bone Support Bone wellness begins with understanding that every herb, every ray of sunshine, and every bite of wholesome food can be a gift of healing when used as God intended. Below are five powerful tinctures that support the body’s natural ability to strengthen bones, reduce inflammation, and improve mineral absorption. Cat’s Claw Bark Tincture Cat’s Claw Bark is a powerful anti-inflammatory herb used for centuries to ease joint and bone discomfort. It supports the body’s natural immune defenses and helps calm inflammation that can wear down cartilage and bone tissue. Because it assists in reducing oxidative stress, Cat’s Claw also supports collagen production—the same protein that gives bones and connective tissue their flexibility and resilience. “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”— Proverbs 17:22 Red Clover Tincture Red Clover is a gentle yet effective herb that helps balance hormones, especially in women experiencing changes that can affect bone density. Rich in plant compounds known as isoflavones, Red Clover helps the body maintain calcium levels and supports bone mineralization. This makes it an excellent tonic for those seeking natural ways to maintain strong bones as they age. “You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” — Isaiah 58:11 Stinging Nettles Tincture Stinging Nettles are one of nature’s richest sources of minerals—especially calcium, magnesium, and silica, all of which are vital for strong bones and connective tissue. Nettle also supports kidney function, helping the body regulate calcium and phosphorus balance for long-term bone strength. It is an excellent daily tonic for anyone who desires to nourish their bones from the inside out using natural plant minerals that the body can easily absorb. “The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.” — Isaiah 58:11 Turmeric + Black Pepper Tincture Turmeric is a gift from God for inflammation support. Its main compound, curcumin, helps reduce the pain and swelling often associated with joint discomfort, while Black Pepper enhances absorption so that the body can make full use of its benefits. Together, these two work in harmony to keep inflammation low and circulation strong, which helps the body rebuild and protect bone tissue. This dynamic duo encourages mobility and joint comfort—allowing you to move freely and with grace. “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” — Acts 17:28 Amaranth Tincture Amaranth is a nutrient-rich ancient grain that supports the building and repair of bone through its abundant calcium, magnesium, and manganese content. It also contains lysine, an amino acid that helps the body absorb calcium more effectively. This tincture is a beautiful addition to any wellness routine aimed at maintaining a strong skeletal system. “The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.” — Genesis 2:7 The Sunshine Connection: Vitamin D and Bone Strength One of the simplest yet most powerful ways to support your bones is by spending time in the sunlight. Just 20 minutes of sunshine each day allows the body to produce natural Vitamin D, which is essential for calcium absorption. Without enough Vitamin D, even the most nutrient-rich diet cannot fully strengthen your bones. Take a walk in the morning light. Lift your face toward the sun and give thanks for the warmth and the life it brings. Let those moments of light remind you that God’s creation was made to heal and restore you. Top Five Holistic Foods for Bone Support 1. Raw Milk – A natural source of calcium, Vitamin D, and enzymes that help the body digest nutrients. Always choose clean, properly sourced raw milk from trusted local farms. 2. Wild-Caught Salmon – Packed with Vitamin D, Omega 3 fatty acids, and protein to help build strong bones and reduce inflammation. 3. Dark Leafy Greens – Kale, collards, and dandelion greens are abundant in calcium, magnesium, and Vitamin K for bone density and repair. 4. Sesame Seeds and Tahini – Rich in calcium and zinc, these seeds help strengthen the skeletal system and balance minerals in the body. 5. Bone Broth – A time-honored food that supports collagen production, provides minerals, and nourishes the joints and bones deeply from within. Your bones are the framework God built to carry His purpose through your life. Strengthen them through nourishment, prayer, and gratitude for His provision. Each tincture crafted by Kingdom Come Home is made to serve as a gentle reminder that healing is found in creation itself—made by His hands, offered through ours. “The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.” — Exodus 15:2 ⚠️ Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. - A Detox and Reset for 2026: Clearing What No Longer Serves the Body, Mind, and Spirit
"Let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit and let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God." – 2 Corinthians 7:1 As we step into 2026, many of us feel the gentle prompting to slow down, reflect, and realign. A new year does not automatically bring renewal, but intentional choices do. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe detoxing is not about extreme deprivation or chasing perfection. It is about removing what burdens the body and restoring what God designed it to do naturally. A detox is an act of stewardship. It is a way of honoring the body that the Lord entrusted to you. Why Detoxing the Body Matters Every day, our bodies are exposed to things they were never meant to process in excess. Environmental toxins heavily processed foods synthetic fragrances and chronic stress all place strain on the body over time. God created the body with built-in detox systems, including the liver, kidneys, lymphatic system, skin, and gut. When these systems are supported, the body is capable of incredible restoration. When they become overwhelmed, the body often responds with fatigue, inflammation, skin issues, sluggish digestion, and hormonal imbalance. A gentle detox helps support liver and lymphatic function, reduce toxic load and inflammation, improve digestion and elimination, support skin clarity and energy levels, and reset cravings and appetite signals. This is not about cleansing to be worthy. It is about removing obstacles so the body can heal the way God designed. Detox as a Biblical Principle Scripture consistently points us toward cleansing, removal, and renewal, not only spiritually but physically as well. God often works through subtraction before addition. Throughout the Bible, we see themes of washing, clearing, separating, and preparing before entering new seasons. Detox aligns with this principle. It is an intentional clearing of what no longer serves, so the body, mind, and spirit can be refreshed. Foods That Naturally Support Detoxification Detox does not require extreme cleanses or harsh protocols. God placed detox support in real, whole foods that nourish the body while supporting its natural processes. • Leafy greens such as spinach, arugula, and dandelion greens support liver pathways and bile flow. • Cruciferous vegetables, including broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower, assist the liver in neutralizing toxins. • Cucumber and celery provide hydration and lymphatic support. • Lemon supports digestion and liver enzymes. • Garlic and onion are sulfur-rich foods that assist detox pathways. • Berries provide antioxidant support for cellular repair. • Clean proteins support liver detox phases and blood sugar balance. • Water is essential since detox cannot occur without proper hydration. Think simple, whole, and nourishing rather than restrictive. Supporting Your Detox Journey With Kingdom Come Home Detox is most effective when it is layered. Supporting the body both internally and externally allows the systems God designed to work together in harmony. Super Detox Deodorant for Lymphatic Support Our Super Detox Deodorant supports detoxification by working with the lymphatic system rather than blocking it. The underarm area sits near a dense network of lymph nodes that are responsible for filtering waste, cellular debris, and metabolic toxins from the body. Conventional antiperspirants often contain ingredients that plug sweat glands, which interferes with the body’s ability to release waste through perspiration and can slow lymphatic flow in this area. Super Detox Deodorant is designed to allow the body to sweat naturally while supporting the movement of toxins out of the tissue. Bentonite clay and activated charcoal – Helps bind impurities, bacteria, and metabolic waste at the surface of the skin so they can be washed away rather than reabsorbed. Magnesium – Supports enzymatic detox processes and helps maintain a balanced underarm microbiome, which is essential for odor control without suppressing detox. Zinc ricinoleate – Traps odor molecules at the molecular level without clogging pores, allowing detox pathways to remain open. Tea tree and oregano – Support a clean, balanced environment by discouraging odor-causing bacteria while still respecting the skin barrier. When used consistently, especially in the evening, Super Detox Deodorant supports lymphatic drainage overnight when the body naturally focuses on repair, detoxification, and cellular cleanup, making it a powerful daily tool for supporting whole body detox through one of the most overlooked areas of the body. Super Detox Cleansing Gel What we put on our skin matters just as much as what we put in our bodies. The skin is a detox organ, and daily cleansing plays a role in removing buildup from environmental exposure. Our Super Detox Cleansing Gel gently cleanses without stripping the skin. Activated charcoal helps bind impurities. Aloe supports soothing hydration. Lavender supports calm and balance. Reishi mushroom and astragalus support skin resilience and cellular renewal. This cleanser supports detox while respecting the skin barrier, making it ideal during a reset. Super Detox Shampoo with Activated Charcoal The scalp is often overlooked during detox, but it plays a major role in overall balance. Product buildup, environmental toxins, and excess oil can interfere with scalp health. Activated charcoal helps lift impurities from the scalp. Castor oil supports circulation. Aloe soothes and hydrates. Peppermint and tea tree support a refreshed, balanced scalp environment. This shampoo helps reset the scalp and supports healthy hair growth during a detox season. Land of Canaan Detox Bath Bar The Land of Canaan Detox Bath Bar supports detoxification through the skin, which is one of the body’s primary elimination pathways. The skin plays a vital role in releasing toxins through sweat and cellular turnover, and what we apply to it can either support or hinder that process. This bath bar is formulated to cleanse without stripping while encouraging the skin’s natural detox function. Dead Sea mud is rich in naturally occurring minerals that help bind impurities and draw them to the surface of the skin, where they can be rinsed away. These minerals also support skin barrier health, which is important during detox when the body is actively releasing waste. Olive, coconut, and castor oils provide deep nourishment while cleansing, helping to prevent dryness or irritation that can occur when toxins are mobilized. Vitamin E supports skin repair and protects against oxidative stress, which can increase during detoxification. Using this bar during a warm bath or shower supports circulation and gentle sweating, which further encourages toxin release through the skin. This makes the Land of Canaan Detox Bath Bar an effective yet gentle way to support whole body detox while also caring for the skin. Detox Support with Castor Oil Packs Kingdom Come Home’s Castor Oil Pack plays a unique and important role in detox because it supports several of the body’s primary detox pathways at the same time. Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, which has been shown in traditional and functional wellness practices to support lymphatic circulation. The lymphatic system is responsible for moving cellular waste, toxins, and excess fluid out of the tissues, yet it does not have its own pump and relies on movement, warmth, and circulation. When a castor oil pack is applied to the abdomen, particularly over the liver and digestive area, the warmth and oil penetration encourage lymph movement, which helps the body transport waste toward elimination. Castor oil packs are also commonly used to support liver function since the liver is the body’s main detox organ, responsible for filtering toxins, hormones, and metabolic waste from the blood. By supporting circulation to this area, castor oil packs may help the liver work more efficiently while also supporting bile flow, which is essential for carrying toxins out of the body through digestion. Many people also experience improved bowel regularity with consistent use, which is critical during detox because toxins must be eliminated rather than recirculated. In addition, castor oil packs promote deep relaxation of the nervous system, which directly impacts detox since the body detoxifies most effectively in a calm parasympathetic state rather than under stress. This makes castor oil packs a powerful and practical tool for supporting detox at the lymphatic, digestive, hepatic, and nervous system levels all at once. Detox as Preparation for What Is Next A detox is not about chasing a trend. It is about making room. Clearing space. Supporting the body so it can function as designed. As you step into 2026, consider this season a reset, not just physically but spiritually and emotionally as well. Let go of what no longer serves and step forward lighter, clearer, and more aligned. "Create in me a clean heart O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me." – Psalm 51:10 ⚠️ Important FDA Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. - Why Regular Bowel Movements Matter More Than You Think
Hormones, Detox Pathways, and Restoring the Body’s Natural Rhythm Digestive health is one of the most overlooked foundations of women’s wellness. Many women normalize constipation, bloating, or irregular bowel movements, assuming it is simply part of aging, stress, or hormonal change. In reality, regular elimination is one of the primary ways the body maintains balance, particularly when it comes to hormones. The colon is not just responsible for waste removal. It plays a significant role in detoxification, hormone clearance, and overall metabolic health. When bowel movements slow, the body does not stop producing waste. Instead, toxins and excess hormones remain in circulation longer than they should, often contributing to fatigue, mood changes, skin issues, inflammation, and hormonal imbalance. For women, especially during perimenopause and menopause, digestive rhythm and hormonal balance are deeply interconnected. How Often Should a Woman Have a Bowel Movement While there is a wide range of what can be considered normal, most women feel and function best when they are eliminating at least once daily. A healthy bowel movement should be comfortable, easy to pass, and complete, without straining or urgency. When elimination is infrequent, estrogen and other hormones can be reabsorbed through the colon instead of being properly eliminated. This places additional stress on the liver and can worsen symptoms such as bloating, breast tenderness, irritability, headaches, fatigue, sleep disruption, and weight gain. Regular bowel movements support healthy detox pathways and help prevent hormone buildup in the body. The Hormone and Gut Connection Hormones play a powerful role in digestive motility. This becomes increasingly important during midlife, when natural hormone production begins to shift. Progesterone helps regulate smooth muscle movement throughout the body, including the intestines. When progesterone levels decline, which commonly occurs during perimenopause and menopause, gut motility can slow significantly. Estrogen imbalance can further affect bile production, which is necessary for proper fat digestion and stool formation. In addition, declining estrogen levels can lead to reduced stomach acid and changes in the gut microbiome, both of which contribute to constipation. These hormonal shifts are often compounded by increased stress and a more sensitive nervous system, further suppressing digestive function. This is why constipation during menopause is rarely just a fiber or hydration issue. It is often a hormone signaling issue. When hormones are out of balance, digestion slows. When digestion slows, hormone clearance becomes impaired. Supporting hormonal balance is a critical part of restoring healthy bowel function. When a Reset Is Needed Long periods of sluggish digestion can cause waste to remain in the colon longer than intended. Over time, this can weaken the natural signaling between the brain and the gut, making it difficult for regular elimination to resume without support. In these situations, a short-term bowel cleanse can help restart the process. This type of support should be used as a reset, not as a daily solution. Let’s Go Tincture as a Short-Term Support Let’s Go Tincture is formulated to support occasional constipation and help initiate bowel movement when the body needs assistance getting started. It contains organic cascara sagrada bark, organic senna leaf, organic ginger root, organic peppermint leaf, and organic marshmallow root. This blend works together to encourage movement, soothe the digestive tract, and reduce discomfort, typically within six to twelve hours. Let’s Go is not intended for daily or long-term use. Regular use of stimulant laxatives can lead to bowel dependence and further disrupt the body’s natural rhythm. Once regular bowel movements return, use should be discontinued. The purpose of a short-term cleanse is to clear out and create space so the body can respond again on its own. The Long-Term Solution - Nourishment, Rhythm, and Hormonal Balance True digestive health comes from supporting the systems that regulate elimination, rather than forcing the body to respond. Long-term bowel regularity is built through whole foods that provide natural fiber and nutrients, adequate hydration to support stool consistency, and healthy fats to promote bile flow and digestion. Equally important is hormonal balance, especially during menopause. When hormones are supported, the intestines are better able to maintain proper motility, and the liver is more efficient at clearing excess estrogen. Balancing hormones helps reduce inflammation in the gut, improves muscle tone in the intestines, supports bile flow, and restores communication between the nervous system and digestive tract. These changes directly influence how easily and regularly the body eliminates waste. A Gentle Smoothie to Support Colon Motility Incorporating supportive foods can help encourage regular elimination. This smoothie is designed to provide hydration, fiber, and healthy fats to gently stimulate the colon. Colon Supporting Smoothie Recipe Ingredients: • One cup unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk • One tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds • One half-ripe avocado • One cup frozen berries • One teaspoon olive oil or coconut oil • Optional additions include a pinch of cinnamon or fresh ginger Directions: Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Drink in the morning to support digestion, bile flow, and bowel regularity. Supporting Hormones with Wild Yam Cream For women navigating hormonal shifts, topical wild yam cream can be a supportive tool. Wild yam is traditionally used to support hormonal balance, particularly in women experiencing low progesterone symptoms during perimenopause and menopause. Applied topically, wild yam cream is often used to support the body during times of hormonal transition. Balanced hormone signaling supports intestinal muscle tone, reduces digestive sluggishness, and helps regulate the timing and strength of bowel movements. When hormones are better supported, the colon is less likely to remain in a slowed state. This can reduce reliance on laxatives, decrease bloating, and improve overall digestive comfort. Supporting hormones is not about forcing balance but about providing the body with gentle, consistent support so it can regulate itself more effectively. Restoring Balance Gently Constipation is often a signal that something deeper is out of balance. Addressing digestion without addressing hormones can leave women frustrated and stuck in cycles of temporary relief. True healing comes from nourishment, rhythm, and hormonal support working together. A short-term reset may be helpful, but long-term balance comes from respecting how the body was designed to function. - Medicinal Mushrooms: God’s Powerhouses Beneath Our Feet
Alright, let’s step into the forest for a minute… not the cute fairytale kind… the ancient, whispering, God-designed pharmacy kind. The kind where everything is working beneath the surface. Roots communicating with roots. Life feeding life. Quiet systems sustaining entire ecosystems. And tucked into that hidden world… mushrooms. The deeply, profoundly powerful fungi. “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities… have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.” — Romans 1:20 Mushrooms are one of those creations that make you pause and realize just how intentional everything truly is. What Are Adaptogenic Mushrooms Adaptogens are not stimulants. They are not quick fixes. They are substances that help your body adapt. Stress, inflammation, hormone shifts, immune challenges. Instead of forcing your body in one direction, adaptogens help bring it back into balance. They meet your body where it is and gently guide it toward where it needs to go. Mushrooms are some of the most powerful adaptogens on earth because they do not override your system. They work in harmony with it. “A heart at peace gives life to the body…” — Proverbs 14:30 Why Medicinal Mushrooms Feel Different Most supplements create a quick effect and then fade. Mushrooms build. They strengthen. They restore. They work through: • Beta-glucans that communicate with your immune system • Polysaccharides that support cellular repair • Antioxidants that protect at a deep level • Compounds that support the nervous system and brain This is nourishment, not stimulation. It is the difference between lighting a match and building a fire that continues to burn. The Big Four: A God-Crafted Synergy Your Four-Fold Fungi blend is not random. It is layered, intentional, and beautifully balanced. Reishi: The Deep Exhale Reishi is often called the mushroom of immortality. It is known to: • Calm the nervous system • Support deep, restorative sleep • Help regulate stress hormones • Strengthen long-term immune resilience Reishi brings a sense of calm to the body. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 Lion’s Mane: Clarity and Renewal Lion’s Mane supports the brain in a unique and powerful way. It is known to: • Encourage memory and focus • Support nerve growth and repair • Help reduce brain fog and mental fatigue • Support mood and cognitive function This is the mushroom for clarity when your mind feels overwhelmed or scattered. Chaga: Cellular Protection Chaga grows on birch trees and appears almost charred on the outside, yet inside it is rich in antioxidants. It supports: • Protection against oxidative stress • Immune strength • Reduction of inflammation • Healthy skin from within It works quietly at the cellular level to protect and restore. Turkey Tail: Immune Intelligence Turkey Tail is one of the most researched medicinal mushrooms in the world. It supports: • Gut health and microbiome balance • Regulation of the immune response • Compounds such as PSK and PSP that support immune function This mushroom does not simply stimulate the immune system. It helps it function with greater intelligence and balance. The Gut, The Brain, and The Immune System Your body is constantly communicating within itself. Your gut communicates with your brain. Your immune system responds to both. Mushrooms support this entire system. They help: • Nourish beneficial gut bacteria • Regulate immune response • Support neurological function This is why many people notice that they feel calmer, clearer, and more steady over time. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3 Why Extraction Matters You cannot simply consume mushrooms and expect to receive all of their benefits. The beneficial compounds in mushrooms are protected by strong cellular walls made of chitin. If those walls are not properly broken down, your body cannot fully access what is inside. Extraction is what unlocks their potential. The Power of Double Extraction Your Four-Fold Fungi Tincture is double extracted, and this is essential. Mushrooms contain two primary categories of beneficial compounds: • Water-soluble compounds, such as beta-glucans, that support immune function • Alcohol soluble compounds, such as triterpenes that support stress response and inflammation A single extraction only captures part of what the mushroom offers. Double extraction uses both water and alcohol to draw out the full range of beneficial compounds. This allows your body to receive the complete profile of what these mushrooms provide, rather than just a portion. This is where potency and effectiveness are found. Why a Tincture Is So Effective Tinctures offer several advantages: • Faster absorption • Greater bioavailability • Ease of daily use • Consistent dosing The body does not have to work as hard to access the benefits. The preparation has already been done. The Power of Combining These Four Each of these mushrooms is powerful on its own. Together, they create a more complete and balanced support system. • Reishi calms and restores • Lion’s Mane supports clarity and renewal • Chaga protects and nourishes • Turkey Tail strengthens and regulates This supports the entire body. The Four-Fold Fungi Tincture: Your Daily Foundation Four-Fold Fungi Tincture Blend includes: • Organic Reishi • Organic Lion’s Mane • Organic Chaga • Organic Turkey Tail It is double extracted to ensure that both water soluble and alcohol soluble compounds are fully captured. This blend supports: • Immune balance and resilience • Brain clarity and cognitive function • Stress response and nervous system support • Inflammation and cellular protection • Gut health and microbiome balance Suggested Use: 10 to 30 drops, up to three times daily. It may be added to water or juice. If you have been searching for something that supports your body in a steady, foundational way, this is one of those daily supports that works quietly and effectively, just as it was designed to. A Final Thought Mushrooms remind us that some of the most powerful things grow beneath the surface, unseen. Some of the deepest restoration happens quietly. “The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed… though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it becomes the largest of garden plants.” — Matthew 13:31–32 ⚠️ Important FDA Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. - How to Lower Cortisol After 40: A Comprehensive, Biblically Grounded Guide for Women Who Want Real Peace, Not Just Temporary Relief
There comes a season in a woman’s life when what used to “work” simply does not anymore. You eat clean. You try to sleep. You pray. You take your supplements. And yet your body feels wired, inflamed, puffy, tired but unable to rest. If you are over forty, this is not your imagination. It is often cortisol. Cortisol is not the villain. It is a survival hormone created by God to protect you. It rises in the morning to wake you. It increases during stress to help you respond. It regulates blood sugar and inflammation. But when cortisol stays elevated for months or years, it shifts from protector to disruptor. After forty, especially as progesterone declines and estrogen shifts, cortisol becomes louder. What used to be manageable stress can suddenly feel overwhelming. Let us walk through this carefully and biblically. “Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10 Stillness is not weakness. It is regulation. What High Cortisol Looks Like After 40 Many women do not realize their symptoms are cortisol related. Common signs include: • Weight gain around the midsection • Waking between 2 and 4 in the morning • Puffy eyes or face • Blood sugar swings • Anxiety or irritability • Dry skin and thinning hair • Low libido • Slow gut recovery • Inflammation and tendon pain After forty, declining progesterone means you lose one of your natural calming buffers. Cortisol becomes more dominant. That is why women often say, “I feel different. I feel on edge.” You are not broken. Your body is adapting. Why Cortisol Rises More Easily After 40 Several physiological shifts happen: Progesterone declines, which normally balances stress hormones Blood sugar regulation becomes more fragile Sleep becomes lighter Muscle mass declines which affects glucose stability Inflammation increases Cortisol responds to all of these. This is why managing cortisol is not about one pill. It is about building a rhythm of peace in the body. Step One: Blood Sugar Stability The fastest way to calm cortisol is to stabilize blood sugar. When blood sugar drops, cortisol rises. This means: • Eat protein at every meal • Do not skip meals if you are already stressed • Pair fruit with fat or protein • Avoid large spikes of refined sugar Foods that support cortisol balance: Eggs Avocado Wild salmon Grass fed beef Pumpkin seeds Chia seeds Bone broth with collagen Full fat Greek yogurt Berries Olive oil If you wake at 3 am consistently, consider a small protein rich snack before bed such as pumpkin seeds or collagen in warm milk. Step Two: Sleep Restoration Cortisol should be highest in the morning and lowest at night. If it is reversed, you feel wired at bedtime and exhausted in the morning. To repair this rhythm: • Morning sunlight within 15 minutes of waking • No scrolling before bed • Dark room with no blue light • Consistent sleep time • Magnesium rich foods or supplementation A calming tea before bed that includes valerian root, passion flower, or lemon balm can support deeper rest. God designed night for restoration. “He gives His beloved sleep.” Psalm 127:2 Sleep is not indulgent. It is obedience to design. Step Three: Nervous System Regulation Prayer lowers cortisol. This is measurable in studies. Slow breathing lowers cortisol. Gentle movement lowers cortisol. Not punishing workouts. Not frantic cardio. Walking. Stretching. Light strength training. After forty, overtraining often increases cortisol rather than reducing it. You need rhythm, not intensity. Step Four: Targeted Herbal Support This is where single tinctures shine. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe in clean, intentional formulations. Phthalate-free. IFRA assessed. Thoughtfully sourced. Nothing unnecessary. Below are herbs commonly used for stress regulation and adrenal support. Always consult your healthcare provider before beginning any herbal protocol, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or managing a chronic condition. Ashwagandha Tincture Ashwagandha is an adaptogen. It helps regulate the stress response rather than forcing it up or down. Good for: Women over forty with chronic stress High evening cortisol Sleep disruption Anxiety with fatigue Not ideal for: Those with hyperthyroidism Pregnant women unless supervised Individuals sensitive to nightshades Possible side effects: Digestive upset Drowsiness Holy Basil Tincture Holy Basil supports stress resilience and emotional stability. Good for: Mental overwhelm Mood swings Immune stress Not ideal for: Pregnancy without supervision Blood thinning medication users Lemon Balm Tincture Lemon Balm gently calms the nervous system. - Come Let Us Adore Him - A Christmas Invitation to Slow Down
As the Christmas season unfolds, the world around us grows louder. Calendars fill quickly. Stores glow with endless displays. Expectations seem to multiply overnight. Yet in the midst of all the movement and noise, there is a quiet invitation from the Lord. An invitation to slow down. An invitation to remember. An invitation to come home to what truly matters. Christmas was never meant to rush us. It was meant to restore us. When God chose to enter the world, He did not come with fanfare or spectacle. He came quietly. Humbly. Intentionally. The King of Kings arrived as a baby, wrapped in cloth, laid in a manger. Heaven touched earth not through power but through surrender. Scripture tells us in the book of Luke…“And the angel said to them, Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” This is the heart of Christmas. A Savior has been given. Not earned. Not achieved. Simply given. Slowing Down to See Him Mary did not rush through the moment of Jesus birth. Scripture says she treasured these things and pondered them in her heart. She slowed down enough to see what God was doing. She made room not just in her body, but in her heart. “But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart” — Luke 2:19 Slowing down allows us to notice what God is doing in our own lives. It allows us to recognize His faithfulness woven through ordinary days. When we rush, we miss the miracle. When we pause, we see His hand. This season invites us to step away from constant striving and instead sit quietly with the truth of Emmanuel. God with us. Stillness is not inactivity. It is trust. It is choosing presence over pressure. It is choosing worship over worry. A Season Rooted in Family Christmas draws our hearts back to family. Not because family is perfect, but because God Himself chose to enter the world through one. A mother. A father. A child. A household shaped by obedience and faith. Joseph listened when God spoke. Mary said “yes” when the path ahead was uncertain. Together they created space for Jesus. Family is one of God’s greatest gifts. Whether your table is full or quiet this year, God meets you there. He understands brokenness and loss. He understands joy and abundance. He understands longing. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” — Joshua 24:15 Serving the Lord within our families looks like patience. Grace. Forgiveness. Presence. Love spoken and shown. This season is an opportunity to choose connection over distraction. To put phones down. To listen more. To pray together. To laugh together. To remember that love is the greatest gift we can offer one another. Gratitude Changes Everything Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what God has already provided. When we pause to thank Him, our hearts soften and our perspective realigns. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights” — James 1:17 Even in seasons that feel heavy, there are gifts worth naming. Breath. Daily bread. Strength for today. Hope for tomorrow. The promise that God is near. “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Gratitude does not ignore hardship. It acknowledges that God is faithful within it. Keeping Jesus at the Center It is easy for Christmas to become about traditions and decorations. None of these are wrong, but they must never replace the reason we celebrate. Jesus is not an addition to the season. He is the season. "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth”. — John 1:14 Grace and truth entered the world through Christ. Grace that meets us where we are. Truth that transforms us. When we center our homes on Jesus, peace follows. Not because everything is perfect, but because He is present. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” — Isaiah 9:6 Peace is not found in a quiet calendar or a flawless gathering. Peace is found in Him. An Invitation to Come Home At Kingdom Come Home, our heart is to remind you that home is not a place of perfection. It is a place of presence. A place where Christ is welcomed, honored, and loved. This Christmas, may you feel permission to slow down. To simplify. To rest. To remember. May your home be filled with prayer. May your conversations be filled with grace. May your heart be filled with gratitude. And above all, may your eyes be fixed on Jesus. Come, let us adore Him. Christ the Lord. Blessings, Heidi Davis Co-Founder with Holy Spirit Kingdom Come Home
- Thanksgiving - An Act of Worship, A Life of Service, and A Table of Love
Thanksgiving is far more than a holiday on the calendar. For the believer, it is an act of worship and a divine invitation to pause from the noise of life and recognize the goodness of God in every season. It is a day to return to the simple things. Family, food, fellowship, peace, and remembering the faithfulness of the Lord. Woven through all of it is our highest calling. We are created to love God deeply, love others well, and share the hope of the Gospel. Thanksgiving as an Act of Worship The world often makes Thanksgiving about food, football, and stress to “get it all done”. The Kingdom of God calls us to make Thanksgiving about worship. Scripture calls us to a continual posture of thankfulness. “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His steadfast love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1 Worship is not simply singing, it is the positioning of our hearts. When we choose gratitude, we realign our souls to the truth that God is our provider, our sustainer, our healer, and our faithful Father. On Thanksgiving morning, before anything else takes place, pause and reflect on this simple prayer. “Lord, thank You. Everything I have is from You.” That quiet moment becomes a sacrifice of praise mentioned in Hebrews 13:15. It sets the tone for your entire day. Cherishing the Gift of Family Your family may be big, small, blended, loud, messy, quiet, or complex. No matter what your family looks like, it is a gift entrusted to you by God Himself. “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord.” — Psalm 127:3 Thanksgiving is a chance to slow down and truly savor the ones God has placed in your life. The stories told around the table, the laughter that fills the room, the familiar recipes, the inside jokes, and the shared memories all become the threads that create your family legacy. Put your phone away. Look into the eyes of the ones you love. Ask meaningful questions. Share testimonies of God’s goodness. These moments become memories that last for generations. Keeping the Peace in Your Home Holidays can bring stress, personality differences, and old wounds to the surface. This is a reality many families face. Yet Scripture gives us a clear blueprint for how the people of God are called to live. “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” — Romans 12:18 On Thanksgiving, make an intentional choice to guard the peace of your home. Choose to let go of offense. Choose to respond with grace. Choose to walk away from negativity. Choose to speak blessing and not bitterness. Peace is not passive. Peace is Spirit led self control, and your home becomes a sanctuary when peace is protected. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” — Matthew 5:9 Be the one who carries peace into the room. Sharing the Gospel Through Your Life Thanksgiving offers one of the most natural opportunities of the year to share Jesus with those around you. Often you will do this without even speaking a word. Your life itself becomes the message. Your attitude, your patience, your tone, your joy, your humility, and your service preach a sermon that many around you will hear more clearly than any spoken words. “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 The Gospel is seen when you help dish up someone’s plate. It is seen when you clean up without being asked. It is seen when you choose to listen more than you speak, or when you forgive quickly. It is seen when you respond gently in a moment that normally would frustrate you. The way you carry yourself around the table may be the only glimpse of Jesus that some family members ever see. If the Holy Spirit opens a door for conversation, step into it with grace and truth. Loving People Through the Art of Service Service is the heartbeat of Jesus. Scripture says that the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve. We reflect Him most accurately when we serve with love. Thanksgiving gives us a beautiful opportunity to wash feet in a modern form. We do this through food, love, generosity, and a heart posture of humility. You serve Jesus every time you cook a meal with love. Every time you set a table with grace. Every time you open your home to someone who needs a place to belong. Every time you give leftovers to a neighbor. Every time you pray over the food with gratitude. A meal prepared with love is a ministry. A table set with intention becomes an altar. A home opened wide becomes the hands and heart of Christ. Creating Memories That Last a Lifetime When you think back on the Thanksgivings of your childhood, what do you remember? The scent of food filling the kitchen. The laughter of family. The warmth of conversation. The prayers of a grandmother or mother. The feeling of togetherness. Your family will remember the atmosphere you create more than anything you cook or anything you accomplish. They will remember how it felt to be there. And if you dont have those beautiful memories, you can choose to create them. Create a Thanksgiving that feels like peace and warmth. Fill your home with gentleness. Fill your home with safety. Fill your home with faith and gratitude. Turn on soft worship music. Light candles. Set the table with intention. Pray over your home. Take photos. Celebrate the goodness of God. These moments become part of the spiritual foundation of the next generation. Navigating Loss or Disappointment This Thanksgiving Not every Thanksgiving is filled with happiness. For many, this season comes with an empty chair at the table. If you are grieving the loss of someone you love, allow yourself to acknowledge their absence. Remember the love they brought into your life and the ways they shaped you. Speak their name. Share a story. Thank God for the gift that their life was. Grief and gratitude can stand together. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He gathers every tear. Let His comfort hold you as you honor the memory of the one you miss. For some, this may be the very first Thanksgiving without someone who was once the heartbeat of these gatherings. The first year carries a weight unlike any other. Be gentle with yourself. There is no right or wrong way to feel today. God understands the empty spaces and the moments that feel overwhelming. He walks with you through the shadows and promises to be your strength. Hold tightly to Psalm 34:18 which reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. If you are spending Thanksgiving without family or without a place to go, this day can still be meaningful. Scripture says that God places the lonely in families, and sometimes He does that through the act of serving others. Consider volunteering at a church, a rescue mission, a nursing home, or offering a meal to someone in your neighborhood who may also be alone. When you serve the least of these, you are serving Jesus Himself. You may find that the very place you pour out love becomes the place where God pours His love back into you. A Thanksgiving Prayer for Your Home Lord, we thank You for Your goodness. We thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You for Your provision and for Your unfailing love. Make our homes places of peace and our tables places of fellowship. Make our hands instruments of service and our lives reflections of Your heart. Let gratitude be our worship and let love be our offering. In Jesus’ name, Amen. This Thanksgiving, Remember Thanksgiving is more than a day. It is a posture of worship. It is a ministry of service. It is a legacy of love. It is an opportunity to show Christ through how we gather, how we give, and how we love. May your home be filled with His presence. May your table be filled with abundance. May your heart be filled with gratitude. May your memories be filled with joy. Most Blessed Thanksgiving from Kingdom Come Home! “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.” — Psalm 136:1 Blessings, Heidi Davis Co-Founder with Holy Spirit Kingdom Come Home
- 🌾 10 Essential Tips for Sourdough Success
There is something profoundly beautiful about sourdough. It is slow. It is alive. It is patient. It is shaped by your hands, your home, your rhythm, and your faith. In a world that often rushes, sourdough invites us to embrace the pace of the garden — the way God designed nourishment to be created: simply, quietly, and with intention. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe that what we create with our hands is an extension of what God is cultivating in our hearts. Sourdough is more than bread — it’s an invitation to slow down, to nurture, to steward, and to give thanks for the daily bread He provides. Whether you’re a new baker or a seasoned one, here are our Top 10 Tips for Sourdough Success, crafted to help your loaves rise beautifully every single time. Top 10 Tips for Sourdough Success 1. Keep Your Starter Warm and Well-Fed Your starter is the heart of your bread. Treat it like a living ingredient — because it is. Ideal temperature: 72–78°F Feed equal parts starter, flour, and water Use your starter when it has doubled, is bubbly, and smells slightly sweet and yeasty A strong starter creates a strong loaf. 2. Choose High-Quality Flour Good flour makes all the difference. Look for: Unbleached Unbromated Organic if possible Bread flour for strength, or a mix of bread + whole wheat for flavor The better the grain, the better the bread. 3. Hydration Matters Water makes a dramatic difference in sourdough texture. A reliable starting point is 70–75% hydration. Higher hydration = open crumb Lower hydration = easier to handle Start lower until you gain confidence. 4. Use the Stretch-and-Fold Method No heavy kneading necessary. Across the first 2 hours of bulk fermentation, perform 3–4 rounds of stretch-and-folds. This builds gluten strength and airy structure — gently. 5. Don’t Rush the Fermentation Sourdough thrives on time. Bulk ferment: 4–6 hours Watch the dough, not the clock Look for: rise, softness, and a gentle jiggle A patient loaf is a flavorful loaf. 6. Embrace the Cold Overnight Rise This step is a game changer. Let the dough rest in your fridge 8–24 hours before baking. This gives you: Better flavor Better structure Better oven spring Easier scoring Cold dough bakes beautifully. 7. Bake in a Preheated Dutch Oven Steam is essential for that artisan crust. Heat the Dutch oven at 450°F for at least 30 minutes. This traps moisture and creates that crackly, golden finish. 8. Score with Confidence Use a sharp blade or bread lame and cut at a slight angle. This gives your sourdough its beautiful bloom and directs where your loaf will expand. 9. Let It Cool Completely Cooling is a crucial part of the process. Wait at least 2 hours before slicing to avoid a gummy texture. The crumb continues setting long after it leaves the oven. 10. Give Yourself Grace — Every Loaf Is a Teacher Humidity, flour type, temperature, and technique all shift your results. Sourdough teaches patience, discernment, and consistency — and every loaf is a step forward. As Scripture says: “And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us.” — Psalm 90:17 (NKJV) Sourdough is a work of the hands — and of the heart. A Kingdom Come Home Touch: Honey on Warm Sourdough Fresh sourdough is wonderful on its own, but it becomes heavenly when paired with any of our Kingdom Come Home honeys. One of our personal favorites is our Raw Caramel Honey — rich, golden, and naturally decadent. It’s delicious: spread on warm sourdough fresh from the oven, swirled over toasted slices, or melted into real, high-quality butter on a warm, crackly loaf. It’s one of those simple, wholesome joys that turns a homemade loaf into a soul-warming treat. Kingdom Come Home Simple Sourdough Bread Recipe Ingredients: 100 g active, bubbly sourdough starter 350 g warm water 500 g bread flour 10 g sea salt Instructions 1. Bulk Fermentation Let rise 4–6 hours, until puffy, soft, and slightly jiggly. 4. Shape the Dough Turn onto a lightly floured surface and shape into a round. Place in a floured banneton or lined bowl. 5. Refrigerate Overnight Rest in the fridge 8–24 hours for flavor and structure. 6. Preheat the Oven Heat Dutch oven at 450°F for 30 minutes. 7. - The Heart of Service: The Wellness of Worship
As the holiday season approaches, our hearts naturally turn toward giving. Lights twinkle, songs of joy fill the air, and yet beneath it all, there’s something much deeper calling us — a reminder that true wellness isn’t just about how we nourish our bodies, but how we pour out love to others in the name of Jesus. At Kingdom Come Home, this is at the very center of who we are. Every product, every prayer, our first fruits giving is rooted in one truth: that all we have and all we give belongs to Him. Giving Is Worship The world defines wealth by how much we have — but the Word defines wealth by how much we give. When we serve, when we sow, when we care for others, something miraculous happens: our own hearts begin to heal and start to overflow with God’s goodness. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” — Acts 20:35 Giving is an act of worship — one that mirrors the very life of Jesus. He was the Great Servant as well as the King. He washed feet, and He worked miracles. He fed others before He fed Himself. And in the same way, we find our greatest wholeness at His feet — not striving to be served, but seeking to serve. Our First Fruits: Giving Back What God Has Given At Kingdom Come Home, we believe that our increase belongs to the Lord. That’s why we joyfully give 10% of our profit — our first fruits — back to organizations that spread the gospel and bring healing to those in need. One of those is Morning Glory Ministries, a powerful outreach that reaches women trapped in the sex trafficking industry with the redeeming love of Jesus Christ. Through this partnership, lives are being restored, hearts are being healed, and the light of Christ is breaking through the darkest places. Every time you make a purchase from Kingdom Come Home, you help to advance the gospel in this way. You can choose to donate to them directly here: Donate to Morning Glory Ministries, Inc. :: Powered by Aplos When We Pour Out, We Are Filled In this season — especially with the ongoing SNAP benefit delays and closures affecting families across the nation — the opportunities to give are all around us. • Donate to a local food pantry, even if it’s just a few cans or a small grocery bag. • Support a church community dinner that’s feeding families who might not otherwise have a warm meal. • Ask your child’s school if they’re hosting a winter coat drive and let them experience the joy of giving firsthand — the smile of a child receiving a warm coat is a glimpse of heaven itself. Giving doesn’t have to be grand. Sometimes, it’s as simple as making a meal, paying for someone’s groceries, or taking a few moments to pray with someone who feels forgotten. “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.” — Matthew 25:40 When we pour out, God pours back in — pressed down, shaken together, and running over. (Luke 6:38) That’s the beautiful mystery of the Kingdom: our cup is never fuller than when we use it to pour into others. The Highest Place Is at His Feet In a world that tells us to climb higher, Jesus calls us to kneel lower. The highest position any of us can ever hold is at the feet of Jesus. It’s where humility meets power, where surrender meets strength, and where service becomes worship. As we enter the CHRIST-mas season, may we remember that the truest form of wellness is not found in the mirror, but in the ministry of giving. Each act of kindness, each seed sown, and each prayer whispered in love is a fragrant offering before our King. Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus. Let’s feed the hungry, clothe the cold, comfort the broken, and love without limits. Let’s show the world that the heart of the Kingdom is, and always will be — the heart of Christ. “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” — Matthew 20:26 Blessings, Heidi Davis Co-Founder with Holy Spirit Kingdom Come Home
- Rooted in the Word: The Daily Practice That Transforms the Heart and Mind
Each new morning brings a choice to begin the day in our own strength or to anchor ourselves in the living Word of God. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe that true beauty, peace, and renewal begin from within, and there is no better source of restoration than the Scriptures. In a world filled with noise, distraction, and uncertainty, spending time in God’s Word daily is not merely a good habit, it is the lifeline that nourishes our soul, transforms our thinking, and aligns our hearts with His perfect will. The Word Renews and Transforms the Mind Romans 12:2 reminds us: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” When we read the Bible daily, we are not just filling our minds with words, we are renewing them with truth. The world tries to shape our thoughts through fear, comparison, and striving, but Scripture reshapes them through grace, humility, and peace. Spending time in the Word each day realigns our perspective. It quiets anxious thoughts and reminds us of who we are in Christ. We’re loved, chosen, and redeemed. Over time, this renewal changes how we respond to life’s challenges. Instead of reacting out of worry, we begin responding out of faith. The Word Brings Peace in the Storm Isaiah 26:3 promises: “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Peace is not found in our circumstances but in our focus. When our hearts are fixed on the Lord through His Word, we experience a peace that surpasses understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Each time we open our Bible, we exchange worry for wisdom, fear for faith, and confusion for clarity. His Word steadies us when life feels unstable. The Word Sets the Tone for the Day Beginning the morning with Scripture invites the Lord to order our steps before the world can dictate our pace. It centers our hearts in gratitude and opens our eyes to His presence in the day ahead. Psalm 119:105 declares: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” When we let God’s Word guide our day, we walk with purpose and peace. Our responses become gentler, our hearts more patient, and our thoughts anchored in truth. We begin to see interruptions as opportunities and challenges as invitations to trust Him more deeply. The Word Bears Fruit in Our Lives Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” Abiding in Christ through His Word produces fruit. The fruit is peace, patience, love, joy, and strength. These are not things we can manufacture on our own; they grow naturally in a life that stays rooted in Scripture. A Daily Invitation Every time you open your Bible, you are meeting with the living God. You are allowing His Spirit to speak, to heal, to renew, and to direct your path. Even five minutes in the morning can set the tone for your entire day. Whether it’s a Psalm that brings comfort, a Proverb that offers wisdom, or a Gospel passage that reminds you of His love, time in God’s Word will always leave you changed. “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” — Isaiah 40:8 May we be women who dwell daily in His Word, drawing our strength, our peace, and our joy from Him alone. For thousands of years, it has been used to strengthen the body, fight off illness, and restore health. Today, we can still look to this little bulb as a reminder that God provides everything we need for both wellness and wholeness. “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.” – Genesis 1:29 The Holistic Health Benefits of Garlic Garlic is rich in allicin, a compound that is released when garlic is chopped or crushed. Whether taken as a tincture, stirred into honey, or enjoyed in a comforting soup, garlic is a reminder of God’s abundant provision. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe in embracing the plants and herbs the Lord has given us for health, wholeness, and restoration. May garlic remind you that He cares for every detail of your well-being. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” – 3 John 1:2, garlic also supports circulation and helps the body adapt as the temperature drops. ⚠️ Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
