- PMS, Irregular Periods & Hormone Balance: Understanding What Your Body May Be Trying to Tell You
Ladies, can we talk? If you’ve ever found yourself crying because someone looked at you funny… craving chocolate like it’s a survival food… snapping at your husband for breathing too loudly… or wondering why your cycle suddenly has a mind of its own… You’re not alone. Millions of women struggle with PMS, irregular periods, mood swings, cramping, fatigue, breast tenderness, bloating, and hormonal changes every month. While these symptoms have become so common that many women believe they’re simply something to “live with,” your body may actually be trying to tell you something. Hormones don’t randomly decide to wreak havoc. They’re responding to everything from nutrition and stress to sleep, movement, inflammation, and overall health. The beautiful news? God designed our bodies with an incredible ability to restore balance when we begin supporting them well. “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” - Psalm 139:14 💡 First, Remember This… Hormones don’t work in isolation. Think of them like a beautifully orchestrated symphony. If one instrument is out of tune, eventually the whole orchestra sounds different. That’s why hormone balance isn’t usually about finding one miracle herb. It’s about supporting the whole body. 🍠 Wild Yam Cream: Daily Hormonal Support Wild yam has been treasured for generations as one of the most beloved herbs for women’s wellness. Many women reach for wild yam cream during times of hormonal transition, especially throughout perimenopause and menopause, or during the second half of their monthly cycle when they feel they need extra support. Women often use it to help support: • Mood changes • Breast tenderness • Occasional hot flashes • Restful sleep • PMS symptoms • Overall hormonal wellness One important note: although wild yam contains compounds called diosgenins, the body does not convert wild yam into progesterone on its own. Instead, many women choose wild yam cream as part of a broader wellness routine because they find it balances hormones during times of transition. Sometimes supporting your body consistently every day can make a bigger difference than trying to “fix” symptoms once they appear. 🌿 Chaste Tree Berry (Vitex): One of Nature’s Most Loved Women’s Herbs If there were a “queen” of women’s herbs, Chaste Tree Berry would certainly be a contender. Vitex has been traditionally used for centuries to support a healthy menstrual cycle. Women commonly choose Chaste Tree Berry when dealing with: • Irregular periods • Cycles that come too early or too late • PMS • Hormonal mood changes • Breast tenderness • Hormonal breakouts Unlike herbs that simply target symptoms, Vitex is often used with the goal of supporting the body’s normal hormonal communication over time. Patience is key. Many herbalists recommend giving it several cycles before evaluating its full benefit. Nature often works gently. 🌱 Wild Yam Tincture: Internal Herbal Support Some women prefer herbal tinctures because they’re easy to use and absorb quickly. Wild Yam Tincture may be a wonderful companion for women looking to support: • Overall hormonal wellness • Occasional menstrual discomfort • Healthy inflammatory balance • Monthly hormonal fluctuations It’s another beautiful reminder that God often places powerful wellness support in plants long before we discover them. 🏵️ Cramp Bark: For Those “Curl Up on the Couch” Days Let’s be honest. Some periods are simply miserable. Cramp Bark has earned its name for a reason. Traditionally used by herbalists to help relax smooth muscle, Cramp Bark has long been a favorite herb for women experiencing: • Menstrual cramping • Uterine muscle tension • Lower back discomfort during menstruation • General pelvic discomfort associated with the menstrual cycle For many women, it’s the herb they wish they had discovered years earlier. 🍃 Fenugreek: The Underrated Hormone Helper Fenugreek doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. While many people recognize it for supporting healthy milk production in breastfeeding mothers, it’s also traditionally used to support: • Healthy blood sugar balance • Digestive wellness • Overall metabolic health Why does this matter? Blood sugar and hormones are deeply connected. Large swings in blood sugar can contribute to energy crashes, cravings, irritability, and may make PMS symptoms feel even more intense. Sometimes supporting hormones begins by supporting metabolism. 🌿 Don’t Forget the Foundations Herbs are wonderful. But herbs work even better when they’re paired with healthy daily habits. Magnesium Glycinate Magnesium is involved in hundreds of processes throughout the body. Many women don’t get enough. Magnesium glycinate is a gentle, well-absorbed form that is often chosen to support: • Muscle relaxation • Restful sleep • Healthy nerve function • Occasional menstrual discomfort • Mood during PMS Vitamin B6 Vitamin B6 helps the body produce neurotransmitters involved in mood regulation and plays a role in hormone metabolism. Adequate B6 intake may help support: • Mood changes • Energy production • Normal hormone function Omega-3 Fatty Acids Omega-3s, especially EPA and DHA from fatty fish, help support a healthy inflammatory response throughout the body. Research suggests they may support: • Menstrual comfort • Mood • Heart health • Brain function Wild-caught salmon, sardines, anchovies, and quality fish oil supplements are all excellent sources. Vitamin D Vitamin D acts more like a hormone than a traditional vitamin. Healthy vitamin D levels support: • Immune health • Bone health • Muscle function • Hormonal wellness Because deficiency is common, many healthcare providers recommend testing vitamin D levels before supplementing with higher doses. 🥦 Food Is Information Every bite sends your body a message. Choose foods that nourish hormone health instead of constantly fighting against it. Fill your plate with: Broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage, which provide compounds that support normal estrogen metabolism. Berries, rich in antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress. Leafy greens for magnesium, folate, and other essential nutrients. Wild-caught salmon for omega-3 fatty acids. Eggs for protein, choline, and healthy fats. Avocados and extra virgin olive oil for monounsaturated fats that support overall health. Pumpkin seeds, which provide magnesium and zinc. Quality proteins such as grass-fed beef, lamb, pasture-raised poultry, or legumes, depending on your dietary preferences. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s consistency. 🚶♀️ Lifestyle Matters More Than You Think Hormones love routine. Support your body by: Getting morning sunlight to help regulate your circadian rhythm. Walking daily. Prioritizing seven to nine hours of sleep whenever possible. Staying hydrated. Managing stress in healthy ways. Spending time with Jesus every day. When we’re constantly running on empty, sleeping poorly, eating processed foods, and living under chronic stress, our bodies often feel it. 🙏 Never Underestimate Prayer Science continues to show that prayer and faith practices can reduce perceived stress and promote emotional well-being. But as Christians, we don’t pray because it’s another wellness tool. We pray because we have a relationship with Jesus Christ. He invites us to bring every burden before Him. Every fear. Every frustration. Every painful cycle. Every unanswered question. “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” - 1 Peter 5:7 There is incredible peace in knowing the One who designed your body also knows exactly what it needs. 🖊️ A Gentle Reminder While PMS is common, certain symptoms deserve medical evaluation. Please talk with your healthcare provider if you experience: Very heavy bleeding. Bleeding after menopause. Severe pelvic pain. Periods that suddenly stop without explanation (when pregnancy is not a possibility). Persistent or worsening symptoms that interfere with daily life. Natural wellness and good functional medicine care can work hand in hand. 💬 Final Thoughts At Kingdom Come Home, we believe God has provided incredible gifts through His creation. Herbs like Wild Yam, Chaste Tree Berry, Cramp Bark, and Fenugreek have been treasured for generations, not because they’re magic, but because they can be part of a thoughtful, whole-body approach to wellness. Pair those herbs with nourishing foods, quality sleep, daily movement, healthy relationships, and time in God’s presence, and you’re giving your body a strong foundation to thrive. Hormone balance isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about partnering with the body God wonderfully designed, supporting it with wisdom, nourishing it with real food, and trusting Him through every season. “The Lord will guide you continually, satisfy your soul…and you shall be like a watered garden.”- Isaiah 58:11 Disclaimer: This article is intended for educational purposes and is not a substitute for medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting new herbs or supplements, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medications, or have an underlying medical condition. - The Wellness Industry Has Forgotten Something Simple
Or, as the internet might say… Go Touch Grass. “Every day there’s another superfood, another supplement, another miracle trend. But what if the healthiest habits aren’t the newest ones? What if they’re the ones God gave us from the beginning?” Every week it seems there’s a new miracle ingredient. Sea moss. Shilajit. Methylene blue. Peptides. Exosomes. The next “must-have” supplement that promises to change your life. Don’t get me wrong. There is a place for many of these things. At Kingdom Come Home, I love researching herbs, botanicals, and natural ingredients. God filled His creation with remarkable plants that support our health. But somewhere along the way, many of us became so busy chasing the newest thing that we forgot about the oldest things. The things God designed from the very beginning. The truth is that some of the greatest “biohacks” have existed since Genesis. Let’s take a walk through God’s original wellness plan. 1. Eat Foods That Grow Not foods that are engineered. Not foods that require a chemistry degree to understand the ingredient label. Foods that grew from the earth. God gave Adam and Eve plants before there were factories. “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed…and every tree…to you it shall be for food.” - Genesis 1:29 Science continues to confirm what Scripture introduced thousands of years ago. Whole foods naturally contain: fiber that feeds beneficial gut bacteria antioxidants that help protect our cells vitamins and minerals in forms our bodies recognize thousands of beneficial plant compounds we still haven’t completely identified Interestingly, researchers now believe these compounds often work together rather than individually. That means eating the whole blueberry is likely more beneficial than taking one isolated antioxidant extracted from it. Instead of asking… “What’s the newest superfood?” Maybe we should ask… “When was the last time I ate something that came straight from God’s garden?” 2. Step Into the Morning Light One of the hottest topics in neuroscience isn’t a supplement. It’s sunrise. Within the first hour after waking, exposure to natural outdoor light helps signal your brain that it’s time to be alert. Specialized light-sensitive cells in the eye send messages to the brain’s master clock, helping regulate circadian rhythms. Consistent morning light exposure is associated with healthier sleep timing and improved daytime alertness. You don’t have to stare at the sun. Just go outside. Drink your coffee on the porch. Walk around the yard. Take your dog outside. Open your eyes to God’s creation. David understood this long before neuroscience. “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” - Psalm 118:24 Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do before checking your phone… is look at the sky. 3. Go Touch Grass The internet says it as an insult. Science says it’s actually good advice. When your bare feet touch the earth, it’s called grounding or earthing. Researchers are studying whether direct contact with the earth may influence inflammation, stress, sleep, or perceived well-being. Some small studies have reported benefits, but the overall evidence is still limited, and scientists have not reached a consensus on exactly how or whether grounding works. What is well established is that spending time in natural environments can reduce stress and improve mood. Whether you’re standing in your backyard… Walking on the beach… Or sitting beside a stream… Something happens. Your shoulders relax. Your breathing slows. Your nervous system settles. Perhaps it’s not only the ground beneath your feet. Perhaps it’s the reminder that you’re surrounded by God’s handiwork. “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” - Psalm 19:1 So yes… Go touch grass. Not because TikTok said so. Because God made it. 4. Move the Body God Gave You Our bodies were designed to move. Walking remains one of the most studied forms of exercise. Regular walking supports cardiovascular health, blood sugar regulation, joint mobility, mood, and brain health. Even short walks after meals can help with blood sugar control. Movement doesn’t have to be punishment. It can become worship. Every step reminds us that our legs still carry us. Our lungs still breathe. Our heart still beats. What a gift. “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” - Acts 17:28 Sometimes your next breakthrough doesn’t happen on the couch. It happens one step at a time. 5. Sleep Like It’s Sacred We often brag about sleeping four hours. God never did. Throughout Scripture we see rhythms of work… And rhythms of rest. Poor sleep has been linked with changes in immune function, metabolism, mood, and memory. During sleep, the brain also performs important housekeeping processes that support learning and overall brain health. God built restoration into the night. “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” - Psalm 4:8 Your body repairs while you rest. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do… Is go to bed. 6. Build Strong Relationships Loneliness has become one of the biggest health concerns of our generation. Research has consistently found that strong social connections are associated with longer life, better mental health, and lower rates of many chronic illnesses. God never intended us to walk alone. “Two are better than one…” - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Eat dinner together. Call your parents. Visit your grandparents. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Pray with your spouse. Community isn’t just good for your soul. It’s good for your body. 7. Pray First Here’s something fascinating. Scientists have studied prayer for decades. While research cannot measure God’s power or prove spiritual truths, studies suggest that sincere prayer and other contemplative practices can be associated with lower perceived stress, improved emotional well-being, and changes in brain regions involved in attention, compassion, and emotional regulation. As Christians, our confidence in prayer isn’t based on brain scans. It’s based on the living God who hears us. Prayer isn’t simply another wellness habit. It’s a relationship with Jesus Christ. When we pray, we are speaking to the One who created us, loves us, and invites us to cast every burden on Him. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God…will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7 Science can observe some effects of prayer on the body. Faith tells us something even greater. Prayer changes us because we are spending time with Him. 8. Stop Chasing Every New Thing Could some supplements help? Absolutely. Could herbs support health? Of course. God created many wonderful plants with remarkable properties. But don’t overlook the foundation while searching for the newest miracle. Eat real food. Walk outside. Watch the sunrise. Touch the grass. Sleep. Laugh. Love people. Pray. These aren’t revolutionary. They’re ancient. Maybe the greatest health plan was never hidden. Maybe it was planted in a garden from the very beginning. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…and He shall direct your paths.” - Proverbs 3:5-6 Final Thoughts At Kingdom Come Home, we’ll always be excited about discovering incredible herbs, botanicals, and ingredients from God’s creation. But no tincture, serum, supplement, or superfood can replace the daily rhythms God designed for us. So before you spend another $79 on the internet’s latest miracle… Open your front door. Feel the morning sun. Take a walk. Call a friend. Say a prayer. Eat an apple. Go touch grass. It turns out that God’s original wellness plan has been waiting outside all along. - Cyclospora: What You Need to Know, How to Protect Your Family, and Natural Ways to Support Your Body
If you’ve been hearing about the recent Cyclospora outbreak and wondering whether it’s still safe to eat fresh fruits and vegetables, you’re not alone. Over the past several weeks, thousands of people across the United States have become ill with a parasite called Cyclospora cayetanensis, which causes an intestinal infection known as cyclosporiasis. Health officials continue to investigate the source while encouraging consumers to take extra precautions with fresh produce. The good news? There are practical steps you can take to significantly reduce your risk while continuing to enjoy the wholesome foods God created for us. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe in preparation, not panic. By making a few simple changes, supporting your immune system, and practicing good food safety, you can confidently care for yourself and your family. What Is Cyclospora? Cyclospora is a microscopic parasite that infects the small intestine. The parasite spreads through what is known as the fecal-to-oral route. This means that microscopic amounts of human fecal matter containing the parasite contaminate food or water, and a person becomes infected after consuming that contaminated food or drink. Unlike many stomach viruses, Cyclospora is not usually spread directly from person to person. Instead, people typically become infected by consuming contaminated fresh produce or water. Because the parasite must mature outside the body before it becomes infectious, direct transmission between people is considered very unlikely. What Are the Symptoms? Symptoms typically begin 2 to 14 days after exposure, with about one week being the most common timeframe. Common symptoms include: Profuse watery diarrhea Explosive diarrhea Severe stomach cramps Nausea Fatigue Loss of appetite Weight loss Excessive gas and bloating Low-grade fever Vomiting (less common) One unique feature of Cyclospora is that symptoms often seem to improve for a few days before returning again. This illness can linger for several weeks. Fresh Produce That Deserves Extra Caution Right Now One question we’ve received repeatedly is: “What foods should I avoid?” The truth is, investigators have not yet identified one nationwide food responsible for the current outbreak. However, health officials have noted several fresh foods that have either been linked to previous Cyclospora outbreaks or are being investigated during the current outbreak. These include: • Strawberries • Raspberries • Blackberries • Bagged lettuce • Bagged salad mixes • Mesclun greens • Fresh cilantro • Fresh basil • Green onions (scallions) • Snow peas and sugar snap peas This does not mean these foods are unsafe. Fresh fruits and vegetables remain some of the healthiest foods we can eat. Instead, this is simply a reminder to be especially diligent about where your produce comes from and how it’s cleaned before eating. By Local Whenever Possible One of the easiest ways to shorten the food supply chain is to purchase produce from local farmers whenever possible. Local produce often changes hands fewer times before reaching your kitchen, allowing you to know exactly where your food came from while supporting local families and small farms. Be Extra Careful with Bagged Salads Bagged salads are incredibly convenient. Unfortunately, they’re also handled much more before reaching your table. Whenever possible, purchase whole heads of lettuce instead of bagged mixes. Remove the outer leaves and thoroughly wash the remaining leaves before eating. Wash Every Piece of Produce Even fruits and vegetables with peels should be washed. Why? Because your knife can transfer contaminants from the outside directly into the edible portion when cutting. We recommend thoroughly washing: Apples Grapes Cucumbers Tomatoes Bell peppers Melons Herbs Berries Lettuce Firm produce can also be gently scrubbed with a clean produce brush. One of Our Favorite Kitchen Tools: The TheraSage Produce Bubbler At Kingdom Come Home, one kitchen appliance we absolutely love is the TheraSage Produce Bubbler. While no produce cleaning method can guarantee the complete removal of every parasite or microorganism, ozone bubbling offers an additional cleaning step beyond simply rinsing produce under tap water. It’s become one of those appliances we simply don’t like living without. Stay Hydrated Hydration is one of the most overlooked parts of protecting your body. If you become sick with Cyclospora, diarrhea can quickly lead to dehydration. Aim to drink plenty of: Distilled or Spring Water Add Fulvic Humic and a pinch of sea salt Coconut water (without added sugars) Bone broth if tolerated Your body heals best when properly hydrated. Naturally Support Your Immune System Although no herb can prevent or cure Cyclospora, maintaining a healthy immune system helps your body respond more effectively to illness. Some of our favorite Kingdom Come Home tinctures include: Oil of Oregano Tincture Oregano has been traditionally used to support healthy immune function and digestive health. Elderberry Tincture Rich in antioxidants and long valued for seasonal immune support. Four-Fold Fungi Medicinal mushrooms have been used for centuries to help support normal immune function and resilience. Garlic Tincture Garlic has a long history of use for supporting the immune system and maintaining a healthy balance of microorganisms in the body. Supporting your body before illness is always easier than trying to rebuild after becoming sick. What Should I Do If I Think I Have Cyclospora? If you develop symptoms consistent with Cyclospora, don’t panic. Instead, focus on supporting your body. We recommend: Begin hydrating immediately. Severe diarrhea can quickly deplete both fluids and electrolytes. Drink plenty of filtered water, electrolyte beverages, coconut water, or broth. Eat gentle foods. Choose foods that are easy on your digestive system, such as: Bananas Applesauce White rice Toast Bone broth Plain potatoes Steamed carrots As you begin feeling better, gradually return to your regular whole-food diet. Rest. Your immune system works best when your body has adequate sleep and rest. Continue supporting your immune system. Our favorite tinctures during recovery include: Oil of Oregano Elderberry Four-Fold Fungi Garlic These herbs are intended to support overall wellness and immune health. They are not treatments for Cyclospora, but many people appreciate using them as part of their broader wellness routine. When Should You See Your Healthcare Provider? Contact your healthcare provider if you experience: Signs of extreme dehydration Blood in your stool High fever Inability to keep fluids down Symptoms lasting more than several days There is a time and a place for doctors. Use wisdom. Our Final Thoughts Fresh fruits and vegetables are still some of the most nourishing foods you can put into your body. This outbreak shouldn’t cause fear. Instead, let it encourage wisdom. • Wash your produce. • Support local farmers whenever possible. • Stay hydrated. • Support your immune system. • Take simple, practical precautions. Most importantly, remember that caring for our bodies is part of faithfully stewarding the gift God has given us. Preparation is always more powerful than panic. “The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.” - Proverbs 22:3 (NIV) Disclaimer: The information in this article is intended for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you believe you have Cyclospora or are experiencing severe or persistent symptoms, please seek evaluation from your healthcare provider promptly. - Foundation After 40: Why Your Makeup Needs Change and How to Create a More Youthful Complexion
There is a moment that catches many women by surprise. You purchase the same foundation you’ve worn for years. You apply it exactly the way you always have. Yet somehow, it doesn’t look the same. It settles into fine lines. It feels drier than it used to. It emphasizes texture you never noticed before. Instead of creating a fresh, youthful appearance, it seems to draw attention to the very things you’re hoping to soften. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. The truth is that as our skin changes, our makeup needs change as well. Many women assume they need more coverage as they age. In reality, most women over forty need more hydration, more flexibility, and formulas that work with the skin rather than sitting on top of it. The goal is not to cover your skin. The goal is to help your skin look healthy, radiant, and alive. What Happens to Skin After 40? Beginning in our forties, several natural changes begin taking place within the skin. Collagen production gradually declines. Cell turnover slows. The skin produces less oil than it once did, and moisture becomes increasingly important. As a result, many women begin noticing: • Fine lines around the eyes and mouth • Increased dryness • Dullness or loss of radiance • Uneven pigmentation • A loss of elasticity • More visible texture These changes are completely normal, but they often mean the products that worked beautifully at twenty-five may no longer be the best choice at forty-five, fifty-five, or beyond. This is especially true when it comes to foundation. The Foundation Mistakes That Can Age Mature Skin One of the biggest misconceptions in beauty is that more coverage automatically creates a younger appearance. Unfortunately, the opposite is often true. Heavy foundation can settle into fine lines. Thick powders can emphasize dryness. Ultra-matte formulas can make skin appear flat and tired. Youthful skin naturally reflects light. It has movement. It has softness. When foundation becomes too heavy, the skin can lose those qualities. The most flattering makeup after forty is rarely the makeup that covers the most. It is the makeup that allows skin to still look like skin. The Importance of Starting with Proper Preparation Before foundation ever touches the face, preparation matters. Well-hydrated skin creates a smoother canvas and allows makeup to sit more naturally throughout the day. This is where a quality primer can make a tremendous difference. Our Second Skin Foundation Primer was created to bridge the gap between skincare and makeup. Formulated with organic aloe vera, green tea extract, rosemary, lavender, goldenseal, oregano, thyme, and cinnamon bark, it helps create a smooth surface while supporting healthy-looking skin. Rather than creating a heavy silicone barrier, it leaves the complexion feeling soft, comfortable, and naturally balanced. Many women find that foundation immediately applies more evenly and wears more beautifully when applied over a properly prepared canvas. Choosing the Right Foundation for Your Skin One of the questions we hear most often is, “Which foundation is right for me?” The answer depends less on age and more on the finish and coverage you prefer. For Women Who Love a Natural, Radiant Finish Our Tallow + Milk Organic Liquid Foundation was developed for women who want their skin to look healthy and naturally beautiful without appearing heavily made up. This foundation offers buildable light to medium coverage while allowing the skin’s natural character to remain visible. At the heart of the formula is grass-fed and finished beef tallow, an ingredient rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with beneficial fatty acids that support the skin barrier. It is paired with goat milk, which contains naturally occurring lactic acid and skin-loving nutrients that help promote a brighter, more radiant complexion. Additional ingredients such as organic aloe juice, jojoba oil, argan oil, meadowfoam oil, carrot seed oil, MSM, and DMAE provide conditioning benefits rarely found in traditional foundations. The result is a foundation that feels comfortable, wears beautifully, and gives skin a healthy glow rather than a heavily covered appearance. Women who prefer a lighter, more natural makeup look often fall in love with Tallow + Milk because it enhances the skin instead of masking it. For Women Who Prefer More Coverage There are times when additional coverage is desired. Perhaps you are dealing with redness, discoloration, sun damage, melasma, or uneven pigmentation. In those situations, Second Skin Botanical Foundation is often the perfect choice. Second Skin provides fuller, buildable coverage while maintaining a soft satin finish that still looks natural. The formula contains aloe vera juice, chamomile, shea butter, squalane, rosemary, lavender, and thyme, ingredients chosen not only for their cosmetic performance but also for their ability to support healthy-looking skin. Unlike many fuller coverage foundations that can feel heavy or mask-like, Second Skin was designed to move with the complexion and maintain a natural appearance throughout the day. The finish is polished without being obvious. Coverage is improved without sacrificing softness. Most importantly, the skin still looks like skin. How Concealer Changes After 40 Many women have been taught to apply concealer in large triangles beneath the eyes. While this technique photographs well under studio lighting, it can sometimes emphasize texture and dryness on mature skin. A more flattering approach is targeted concealing. Instead of applying concealer everywhere, apply it only where additional correction is truly needed. The inner corners of the eyes, areas of redness around the nose, isolated discoloration, and occasional blemishes often benefit from a small amount of concealer. Our Second Skin Perfecting Concealer was created specifically with this approach in mind. Formulated with castor seed oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, vitamin E, rosemary extract, oregano extract, lavender extract, and goldenseal extract, it provides flexible, buildable coverage while maintaining a comfortable finish. The creamy texture melts beautifully into the skin and blends seamlessly with either of our foundation formulas. The result is correction without heaviness. Coverage without caking. Why Powder Matters More Than Most Women Realize Powder can either be your best friend or your worst enemy after forty. The wrong powder can emphasize fine lines, create a dry appearance, and leave skin looking flat and lifeless. The right powder, however, can softly blur imperfections while preserving the natural radiance that makes skin appear youthful. This is one reason we created our Sea Pearl Finishing Powder. Made with sea pearl powder, silk powder, arrowroot powder, rice powder, Moroccan clay, and rose clay, it was designed to provide a soft-focus finish without the heavy, chalky appearance often associated with traditional setting powders. Sea pearl powder has been prized in beauty formulations for generations because of its naturally luminous properties. Rich in minerals and amino acids, it helps create a smoother-looking complexion while imparting a subtle radiance that mimics healthy skin rather than covering it. Silk powder contributes a velvety finish that helps soften the appearance of texture and fine lines. Rice powder and arrowroot help absorb excess oil without leaving the skin looking dry, while Moroccan and rose clays provide a refined, silky finish. Unlike many powders that completely mattify the complexion, Sea Pearl Finishing Powder helps maintain balance. It allows the skin to retain a natural glow while gently setting foundation and concealer in place. The result is skin that looks polished, fresh, and soft rather than powdered. For women who have struggled to find a powder that does not age their appearance, this often becomes the missing piece in their makeup routine. Application Tips That Create a More Youthful Finish The way foundation is applied matters just as much as the formula itself. For the most natural appearance: • Start with moisturized skin. • Apply a thin layer of primer. • Use less foundation than you think you need. • Build coverage only where necessary. • Apply foundation with a damp sponge or foundation brush. • Press the product into the skin rather than dragging it across the face. • Use concealer only in areas requiring additional correction. • Apply powder sparingly and only where needed. • Allow the high points of the face to maintain their natural radiance. These simple adjustments often create a more youthful result than switching products altogether. Beauty Beyond 40 The beauty industry often treats aging as something that must be hidden. We see it differently. The goal is not to look twenty-five again. The goal is to look healthy, vibrant, rested, and confident in the skin God has given you today. Beautiful makeup should never feel like a mask. It should enhance what is already there. Whether you prefer the naturally radiant finish of Tallow + Milk Foundation or the perfected coverage of Second Skin Foundation, the most flattering makeup is makeup that works with your skin instead of against it. When foundation supports the skin, provides comfortable coverage, and allows your natural beauty to shine through, the result is timeless. And timeless never goes out of style. My Final Thought As A Woman Embracing 55 The most important thing to remember is that aging is not something to fear. Throughout Scripture, age is often associated with wisdom, maturity, and the faithful hand of God at work through the years. Psalm 139 reminds us that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” and that truth does not expire with age. While the world often defines beauty by youth, God looks far deeper. True beauty is found in a heart that knows Him, trusts Him, and reflects His character. It shines through kindness, patience, gentleness, faithfulness, and love. The most beautiful women are not necessarily those with perfect skin or flawless makeup, but those whose lives radiate the fruits of the Spirit. Makeup can enhance what God has given us, but lasting beauty has always come from the light of Christ within us. Blessings, Heidi Davis Co-Founder with Holy Spirit Kingdom Come Home
- The Top 5 Health Concerns Women Face After 40 and Natural Ways to Support the Body
Aging is a gift. We know that may sound strange in a culture that spends billions of dollars convincing women to fear every birthday, every wrinkle, and every gray hair. Yet Scripture paints a very different picture. “The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old.” Proverbs 20:29 As women, many of us spend our younger years caring for children, building careers, serving our families, and pouring ourselves into others. Then one day, often sometime in our forties, we begin noticing that our bodies are changing. The things that once came easily require more intentionality. Sleep becomes more important. Recovery takes longer. Hormones begin to shift. Weight may become harder to manage. Energy levels fluctuate. Brain fog appears out of nowhere. If you’ve experienced any of these changes, you are not alone. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe our bodies are gifts from the Lord. While we cannot stop the aging process, we can steward our health wisely and support the body God created with nourishing foods, movement, rest, prayer, and natural tools that have been used traditionally for generations. Let’s look at five of the most common health concerns women face after forty and some natural ways to support the body through each season. 1. Hormonal Changes, Perimenopause, and Menopause For many women, hormonal shifts begin years before menopause actually arrives. This transition, often called perimenopause, can bring a wide variety of symptoms including: Mood swings Irregular cycles Sleep disturbances Hot flashes Night sweats Anxiety Weight gain Brain fog The reality is that hormones influence nearly every system in the body. When they begin to fluctuate, women often feel like strangers in their own skin. While every woman’s experience is unique, supporting the body during this transition can make a tremendous difference. Kingdom Come Home Favorites Chaste Tree Berry Tincture Traditionally used to support healthy hormonal balance and women’s wellness. Ashwagandha Tincture An adaptogenic herb traditionally used to help the body respond to everyday stress while supporting overall well-being. Rhodiola Tincture Traditionally used to support energy, resilience, and mental stamina during periods of stress. One of the most powerful things women can do during this season is extend grace to themselves. Hormonal shifts are not a sign that something is wrong. They are part of God’s design for the different seasons of womanhood. 2. Weight Gain and Metabolic Changes One of the most common frustrations we hear from women over forty is this: “I’m doing everything I’ve always done, but suddenly it’s not working anymore.” The truth is that metabolism changes with age. Muscle mass naturally declines if it is not maintained. Hormonal shifts influence how and where the body stores fat. Stress, sleep quality, and blood sugar balance all begin playing a larger role. This doesn’t mean weight management becomes impossible. It simply means we must work with our bodies rather than against them. Kingdom Come Home Favorites Healthy Weight Tincture A traditional herbal blend designed to support healthy lifestyle goals. Bee Bread Tincture One of nature’s most nutrient-dense foods, traditionally valued for its rich nutritional profile. Four-Fold Fungi Tincture A blend of functional mushrooms traditionally used to support overall wellness, vitality, and resilience. While supplements can provide support, the greatest foundations remain simple: adequate protein, daily movement, strength training, quality sleep, and whole foods. Our bodies were designed to move, nourish, and restore. 3. Heart Health and Circulation Many women are surprised to learn that heart disease remains one of the leading health concerns for women. After menopause, cardiovascular risk factors often become more significant as hormonal protection begins to decline. This is why supporting heart health becomes increasingly important as we age. Simple habits such as walking daily, managing stress, prioritizing sleep, and eating a nutrient-dense diet can have a tremendous impact over time. Kingdom Come Home Favorites Olive Leaf Tincture Traditionally used to support overall wellness and cardiovascular health. Garlic Tincture One of the most respected traditional herbs for circulatory and cardiovascular support. French Lavender Tincture Traditionally used to encourage relaxation and help support emotional wellness, both of which are important components of heart health. Never underestimate the power of consistency. Small daily choices repeated over months and years often produce the greatest results. 4. Brain Health, Memory, and Focus Have you ever walked into a room and forgotten why? Lost your train of thought in the middle of a conversation? Struggled to remember a name that should have come easily? You’re not alone. Many women experience periods of mental fatigue and brain fog after forty. Hormonal changes, stress, poor sleep, and the demands of daily life can all contribute. Supporting brain health requires a whole-body approach that includes rest, hydration, nutrition, movement, and stress management. Kingdom Come Home Favorites Laser Focus Tincture Designed to support mental clarity, focus, and productivity. Four-Fold Fungi Tincture Traditionally used to support overall cognitive wellness and vitality. Rhodiola Tincture An adaptogenic herb often used to support mental stamina and resilience. One of the greatest gifts we can give our brains is rest. In a world that constantly demands more, slowing down is often one of the healthiest things we can do. 5. Sleep, Stress, and Emotional Wellness If there is one area that affects nearly every aspect of health, it is sleep. Poor sleep impacts hormones, metabolism, mood, energy levels, focus, immune function, and overall quality of life. Unfortunately, many women find that sleep becomes more difficult with age. Stress accumulates. Responsibilities increase. Hormonal fluctuations interfere with restful sleep. Yet God never intended us to live in a constant state of striving. “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 Rest is not laziness. Rest is obedience. Kingdom Come Home Favorites Lemon Balm Tincture Traditionally used to support calmness and relaxation. Passionflower Tincture Traditionally used to encourage relaxation and restful evenings. Valerian Tincture A traditional herb long used to support healthy sleep habits. Creating healthy sleep habits may be one of the most impactful investments you can make in your long-term health. A Final Encouragement Perhaps the most important thing to remember is that aging is not something to fear. Throughout Scripture, age is often associated with wisdom, maturity, and the faithful hand of God at work through the years. Psalm 139 reminds us that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” and that truth does not expire with age. While the world often defines beauty, value, and worth by youth, God looks much deeper. True beauty is found in a heart that knows Him, trusts Him, and reflects His character. It shines through kindness, patience, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control, and love. The most beautiful women are not necessarily those who appear the youngest, but those whose lives radiate the fruits of the Spirit. As we care for our bodies and steward our health, may we never forget that lasting beauty has always come from the light of Christ within us. ⚠️ Important FDA Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. - Banishing Cellulite Naturally: A Holistic Approach to Smoother, Firmer Skin
If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and noticed dimples on your thighs, hips, or the backs of your legs, welcome to being human. Cellulite affects an estimated 80-90% of women at some point in their lives, including women who are thin, active, and otherwise healthy. Despite what the beauty industry would have us believe, cellulite is not necessarily a sign that you’re overweight, unhealthy, or doing something wrong. The good news? While cellulite is completely normal, there are absolutely things you can do to improve the appearance of your skin, support healthy circulation, encourage lymphatic drainage, strengthen connective tissue, and create a smoother, firmer look naturally. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe in working with the body God designed rather than fighting against it. Let’s explore what cellulite really is and the best natural strategies for supporting healthy, beautiful skin. What Is Cellulite? Cellulite occurs when fat cells push upward against the skin while connective tissue fibers pull downward, creating the dimpled or “orange peel” appearance many women notice on their thighs, hips, buttocks, and abdomen. Several factors contribute to cellulite: Genetics Hormonal changes Loss of collagen and elastin Poor circulation Lymphatic stagnation Sedentary lifestyle Inflammation Loss of muscle tone This explains why even women who are lean and fit can still have cellulite. Rather than viewing cellulite as a flaw, think of it as a signal that your skin, circulation, connective tissue, and lymphatic system may benefit from additional support. Eat to Support Collagen and Connective Tissue One of the most overlooked contributors to cellulite is declining collagen production. Collagen acts as the scaffolding that supports healthy, firm skin. As we age, collagen production naturally decreases, causing skin to become thinner and less resilient. To support collagen production naturally, prioritize: Protein Aim for adequate daily protein from sources such as: Grass-fed beef Pasture-raised poultry Wild-caught fish Eggs Greek yogurt Bone broth Protein provides the amino acids needed to build strong connective tissue. Vitamin C Rich Foods Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis. Excellent sources include: Citrus fruits Strawberries Pineapple Kiwi Bell peppers Broccoli Omega-3 Fatty Acids Healthy fats help reduce inflammation and support healthy skin. Consider: Salmon Sardines Chia seeds Flax seeds Walnuts Mineral-Rich Foods Minerals support circulation, hydration, and tissue health. Focus on: Leafy greens Avocados Sweet potatoes Pumpkin seeds Sea vegetables Support Your Lymphatic System The lymphatic system acts as the body’s drainage network, helping remove waste products and excess fluid. Unlike your circulatory system, the lymphatic system does not have a pump. It relies on movement. When lymph becomes sluggish, fluid retention can increase and cellulite may appear more pronounced. Walking One of the best things you can do is simply walk. Daily walking encourages circulation, stimulates lymphatic movement, and helps reduce fluid stagnation. Even 30 to 60 minutes per day can make a significant difference. Dry Brushing Dry brushing remains popular because it encourages circulation and gently stimulates the lymphatic system. Using light pressure, brush upward toward the heart before showering. Rebounding Mini trampolines aren’t just fun. The gentle up-and-down motion helps move lymphatic fluid and support circulation throughout the body. Vibration Plates Many women swear by vibration plates, and there may be good reason. Whole-body vibration has been shown to stimulate muscles, improve circulation, and support lymphatic movement. While a vibration plate won’t magically erase cellulite, it can be a valuable addition to a comprehensive wellness routine. Build Muscle Under the Skin One of the fastest ways to improve the appearance of cellulite is not through weight loss, but through strength training. As muscle develops beneath the skin, the surface often appears firmer and smoother. Focus on: Squats Lunges Deadlifts Step-ups Glute bridges Walking hills Strong glutes, hamstrings, and quadriceps create a more toned appearance and improve overall body composition. Hydrate More Than You Think You Need Dehydrated skin can make cellulite appear more noticeable. Proper hydration helps: Support circulation Improve skin elasticity Enhance cellular function Promote healthy lymphatic flow Adding mineral-rich electrolytes and consuming water-rich foods can be especially beneficial. Sauna and Contrast Therapy Heat encourages circulation while sweating supports the body’s natural detoxification processes. Many women find that consistent sauna use helps reduce puffiness and improves skin appearance. For additional benefits, consider contrast therapy: Sauna Cold shower or cold plunge Repeat The alternating temperatures stimulate circulation and may help improve skin tone over time. What About Sunlight? Contrary to popular myths, sunlight does not eliminate cellulite. However, moderate sunlight exposure can support: Vitamin D production Hormonal health Circulation Mood Recovery Many women notice that healthy skin with a little natural color appears more even overall. As always, balance is key. We recommend sensible sun exposure without burning. Coffee: Nature’s Cellulite Ally Coffee has long been used in skincare because of its ability to temporarily improve the appearance of skin. Coffee naturally contains caffeine, which may: Encourage circulation Reduce the appearance of puffiness Promote temporary skin tightening Improve overall skin texture That is one reason we created our Holy Grounds Collection. Holy Grounds Coffee Bar Our Holy Grounds Coffee Bar combines real coffee essential oil and coffee grounds to gently exfoliate while helping stimulate circulation during use. Massage the bar directly onto the thighs, hips, and backs of the legs in upward motions toward the heart. The result is skin that feels refreshed, energized, and beautifully polished. Holy Grounds Coffee Scrub For deeper exfoliation, Holy Grounds Coffee Scrub helps remove dull surface buildup while leaving skin silky smooth. The combination of organic coffee and sugar crystals helps refine texture while encouraging healthy circulation through massage. Many women notice that smoother skin reflects light better, instantly creating a firmer, more radiant appearance. Why Topical Products Matter No cream can erase cellulite overnight. Anyone promising that is selling fantasy. However, the right ingredients can absolutely support healthier-looking skin by addressing hydration, elasticity, circulation, and collagen support. Butter Buster Body Cream Butter Buster was designed to support skin from multiple angles. Its carefully selected ingredients include: Hibiscus Extract Manuka Honey Wildcrafted Algae Hyaluronic Acid Hydrolyzed Collagen Matrixyl 3000 Peptide Complex Together, these ingredients help support hydration, firmness, elasticity, and smoother-looking skin. Think of Butter Buster as the finishing step after supporting your body internally through nutrition, movement, hydration, and lymphatic care. A Simple Cellulite Support Routine Morning: Walk 30-60 minutes Prioritize protein-rich breakfast Hydrate well Several times weekly: Strength train Use vibration plate Dry brush before showering In the shower: Holy Grounds Coffee Bar Holy Grounds Coffee Scrub 2-3 times weekly After shower: Apply Butter Buster Body Cream while skin is still slightly damp Weekly: Sauna Contrast therapy Outdoor movement and sunshine The Kingdom Come Home Perspective Our culture often tells women that every dimple must be fixed. We see things differently. Your worth has never been determined by the backs of your thighs. Cellulite does not diminish your beauty, your value, or your purpose. At the same time, there is nothing wrong with caring for the body God entrusted to you. When we nourish ourselves well, move daily, support healthy circulation, and choose clean skincare, we honor the incredible vessel He created. The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is stewardship. And when healthy habits leave you feeling stronger, more confident, and more radiant along the way, that’s a beautiful blessing. 1 Corinthians 6:19 “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit?” Here’s to strong legs, healthy skin, and walking confidently in the body God gave you. - Ozempic, “Food Noise,” and the Return to the Garden
A Biblical Perspective on Weight Loss, Wellness, and Why So Many Are Searching for Another Way “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” — 3 John 1:2 There’s a quiet desperation sweeping across our culture right now. Millions of people are exhausted. Inflamed. Stuck. Battling cravings they cannot seem to control. Fighting weight gain despite dieting, exercising, calorie counting, and trying every trendy plan under the sun. And into that desperation stepped a needle. Ozempic. Wegovy. Semaglutide. The modern world called it a miracle. But the deeper question is this: What happens when we begin outsourcing stewardship of the body God gave us to pharmaceutical shortcuts that were never designed to address the root issue? This blog is not written to shame anyone using GLP-1 medications. Many people are genuinely struggling and searching for hope. We understand that. We have compassion for that. But we also believe something else. We believe God did not create the human body broken beyond repair. We believe creation itself still carries wisdom. We believe the garden still matters. And we believe many people are waking up and realizing that rapid weight loss at any cost may not be the abundant life they were promised. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe wellness is not punishment. It is stewardship. Not obsession. Not vanity. Not starvation. Not self-hatred. Stewardship. “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19 What Exactly Is Ozempic? Ozempic and similar medications belong to a class of drugs called GLP-1 receptor agonists. GLP-1 stands for glucagon-like peptide-1, which is a hormone your body naturally produces. This hormone helps: • regulate blood sugar • slow digestion • increase feelings of fullness • reduce appetite • influence insulin production Semaglutide medications essentially mimic this process artificially. And yes, many people lose weight on them. But there’s another side of the story that often gets buried beneath before-and-after photos and celebrity endorsements. The Downsides People Aren’t Talking About Enough For some individuals, these medications come with serious consequences. Commonly reported side effects include: • nausea • vomiting • diarrhea • constipation • bloating • stomach paralysis (gastroparesis) • muscle loss • fatigue • dizziness • hair thinning • nutrient deficiencies • rebound weight gain after stopping Many users report they cannot eat normally anymore. Others lose not only fat, but significant muscle mass, which can damage long-term metabolic health. Some develop an unhealthy relationship with food entirely, swinging from overeating to near starvation. And perhaps most concerning of all... many people never address the reason the weight gain happened in the first place. Inflammation. Stress hormones. Poor sleep. Ultra-processed foods. Mineral deficiencies. Blood sugar dysregulation. Sedentary living. Emotional eating. Trauma. Environmental toxins. A weekly injection cannot heal a lifestyle that is keeping the body inflamed. Big Pharma and the Business of “Management” The pharmaceutical industry is enormously profitable. And while medications absolutely have their place in certain situations, we also have to ask difficult questions. Why are we living in one of the most medicated generations in history while becoming sicker, heavier, more inflamed, and more exhausted? Why are we surrounded by ultra-processed foods, endocrine disruptors, artificial dyes, seed oils, chronic stress, and environmental toxins… only to then be sold another product to manage the symptoms those things created? Sometimes modern wellness feels like someone setting your house on fire and then selling you bottled water. Meanwhile, Scripture reminds us that God already provided many of the things our bodies need through creation itself. “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed… and every tree… to you it shall be for meat.” — Genesis 1:29 The answer is not idolizing nature. The answer is recognizing the wisdom of the Creator behind it. Your Body Already Makes GLP-1 Naturally Here’s something fascinating. Your body was designed to produce GLP-1 on its own. That means there are natural ways to support this process through food, movement, herbs, minerals, sleep, and blood sugar balance. This is one reason so many people are turning back toward traditional herbal wellness. Not because herbs are “magic.” But because the body often responds beautifully when we stop fighting against how it was designed. Foods That Naturally Support Healthy GLP-1 Activity Protein Protein is one of the strongest natural stimulators of GLP-1 production. Foods like: • eggs • wild-caught fish • grass-fed beef • cottage cheese • Greek yogurt • collagen-rich broths …can help increase satiety naturally. Many people trying to lose weight are dramatically under-eating protein. The result? Muscle loss. Blood sugar swings. Cravings. Fatigue. Protein is not the enemy. Fiber Fiber slows digestion naturally and supports healthy blood sugar balance. Some excellent choices include: • chia seeds • flax seeds • berries • apples • lentils • oats • leafy greens Fiber also supports the gut microbiome, which plays a massive role in metabolism and inflammation. Bitter Foods Bitter foods stimulate digestion and metabolic signaling pathways. This is one reason herbs like bitter melon and gymnema have been used traditionally for generations. Modern culture removed bitterness from the diet almost entirely. But the body still responds powerfully to it. Fermented Foods A healthy gut supports hormone balance, appetite regulation, inflammation control, and insulin sensitivity. Foods like: • kefir • sauerkraut • kimchi • plain yogurt • kombucha …may help support the microbiome and metabolic wellness. Sleep and Stress Reduction Poor sleep increases hunger hormones dramatically. Chronic stress elevates cortisol, which can encourage fat storage, cravings, and inflammation. You cannot heal a stressed body with a shot while continuing to live in survival mode. Sometimes the most radical wellness practice is simply slowing down long enough to rest. “He makes me lie down in green pastures.” — Psalm 23:2 Introducing Our Healthy Weight Tincture At Kingdom Come Home, we wanted to create something rooted in traditional herbal wisdom. Not a harsh stimulant. Not a crash diet. Not a synthetic shortcut. Just thoughtfully selected botanicals traditionally used to support metabolism, appetite balance, energy, digestion, blood sugar wellness, and overall vitality. Our Healthy Weight Tincture was crafted with herbs that have been respected for generations. A Deeper Look at Each Ingredient in our Healthy Weight Tincture Bitter Melon: The Ancient Blood Sugar Herb Bitter melon has long been used in traditional wellness practices to support healthy blood sugar balance already within normal ranges. Its intensely bitter compounds may help support: • insulin sensitivity • appetite regulation • metabolic function This herb reminds us that not everything beneficial tastes sweet. Sometimes healing begins with restoring what modern diets removed. Banaba Leaf: The Gentle Metabolic Supporter Banaba leaf contains compounds traditionally associated with healthy glucose metabolism. It has been studied for its role in helping support: • balanced blood sugar • cellular wellness • metabolic health When blood sugar swings constantly, cravings often follow. Supporting balance can help quiet the cycle. Gymnema Sylvestre: “The Sugar Destroyer” Gymnema has an extraordinary history in herbal traditions. Its nickname is literally “the sugar destroyer.” Some people even notice sweet foods taste less appealing after using it. Gymnema has traditionally been used to support: • reduced sugar cravings • appetite balance • metabolic wellness In a culture drowning in processed sugar, this herb feels almost rebellious. Fenugreek: Fiber-Rich Support for Fullness Fenugreek contains naturally occurring fiber compounds that may help support feelings of fullness. Traditionally used for digestion and metabolic support, it has become increasingly respected in modern herbal wellness. Many people chasing weight loss are actually starving their bodies. Fenugreek reminds us that nourishment and balance matter more than deprivation. Garcinia Garcinia is often discussed in the wellness world for its potential role in appetite and weight management support. Traditionally, it has been used as part of broader metabolic wellness practices. While no herb is a magic bullet, many people appreciate Garcinia as part of a holistic routine focused on better food choices and blood sugar awareness. Ashwagandha: The Stress Connection Weight gain is not always about food. Sometimes it is about stress. Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb traditionally used to help the body adapt to stress. And this matters deeply because chronic stress can affect: • cortisol • sleep • cravings • inflammation • energy levels A stressed body often stores weight differently. You cannot separate emotional wellness from physical wellness. “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 Coleus Root Coleus has been traditionally used to support metabolic function and cellular signaling pathways. It is often included in wellness formulas focused on body composition and energy support. Combined with movement, protein intake, hydration, and whole foods, herbs like these can become part of a sustainable wellness rhythm. Black Ginger Root: The Energy Herb Black ginger has become increasingly popular in wellness circles for supporting: • energy • stamina • circulation • metabolic activity Unlike harsh stimulants that leave people shaky and depleted, many people appreciate herbs that support more balanced vitality. Yerba Mate: Clean Plant Energy Yerba mate has been treasured in South America for generations. It offers naturally occurring caffeine along with antioxidant compounds that may help support: • focus • energy • appetite awareness The goal is not frantic energy. The goal is sustainable momentum. Green Tea Leaf Green tea is rich in antioxidants and has long been associated with metabolic support. It may help support: • healthy energy • fat metabolism • cellular protection It is one of the most researched plants in wellness history for a reason. Cinnamon Bark: Blood Sugar’s Best Friend Cinnamon is far more than a baking spice. Traditionally, cinnamon has been used to support healthy blood sugar metabolism and digestion. Stable blood sugar often means: • fewer crashes • fewer cravings • steadier energy The body loves stability. Capsicum (Cayenne): The Fire Starter Cayenne has traditionally been used to support circulation and metabolic activity. It brings warmth, movement, and stimulation. Sometimes the body simply needs help waking back up after years of stagnation. Returning to Rhythms That Heal The modern world teaches extremes. Extreme dieting. Extreme restriction. Extreme injections. Extreme body obsession. But Scripture often points us back toward daily rhythms instead. Daily bread. Daily stewardship. Daily renewal. Not punishment. Not perfection. Faithfulness. Small consistent choices become powerful over time. Drink more water. Walk daily. Eat real food. Prioritize protein. Sleep deeply. Get sunlight. Reduce toxins. Pray. Rest. Move your lymphatic system. Laugh more. Eat food God actually made. The body frequently responds to consistency better than intensity. The Goal Was Never Just Weight Loss Culture says skinny equals healthy. That simply is not true. The goal is not becoming smaller at the expense of your hormones, muscles, digestion, joy, or peace. The goal is vitality. Strength. Energy. Clear thinking. Healthy inflammation response. Balanced blood sugar. Good sleep. Sustainable wellness. The goal is becoming well enough to fully live the life God called you to. Final Thoughts At Kingdom Come Home, we believe wellness should not feel like warfare against your body. Your body is not your enemy. It was intelligently designed by a Creator who formed systems, rhythms, hormones, healing pathways, and even plants with astonishing wisdom. And while modern medicine absolutely has its place, we also believe many people are hungry for another path. A gentler path. A slower path. A more rooted path. A return to the garden. “Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.” — Jeremiah 6:16 ⚠️ Important FDA Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. - The Lymphatic Reset: Why You’re Puffy, Inflamed, and Holding Weight (And How to Support Your Body Naturally)
There’s a specific kind of frustration that doesn’t get talked about enough. It’s the kind where you’re eating clean…You’re trying to take care of yourself…And yet your body still feels puffy, heavy, inflamed… and stuck. Your face looks swollen in the morning. Your rings feel tighter by the afternoon. The scale doesn’t move, even when you’re doing “everything right.” And it leaves frustrated and wondering… “What am I missing?” For so many women, the answer isn’t more restriction, more workouts, or more willpower. It’s something overlooked. Your lymphatic system. “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 Your body was designed with order… with flow… with movement. When something feels stuck, there’s usually a reason. What Is the Lymphatic System and Why It Matters So Much? Think of your lymphatic system as your body’s drainage and detox pathway. It moves: excess fluid cellular waste toxins immune cells But here’s the catch… Unlike your heart, it doesn’t have a pump. It depends on: movement breath hydration stimulation When it slows down or becomes stagnant… That’s when things start to accumulate. Signs Your Lymphatic System May Be Sluggish This is where so many women have that “wait… that’s me” moment: Puffy face, especially in the morning Under-eye swelling Bloating that doesn’t seem tied to food Cellulite that won’t budge A heavy, sluggish feeling in your body Stubborn weight that doesn’t respond This isn’t just about appearance. It’s about flow being interrupted. How a Stagnant Lymphatic System Contributes to Inflammation + Weight Retention When lymph isn’t moving well, the body can begin to hold onto what it should be releasing. That includes: inflammatory waste excess fluid toxins Over time, this can: increase inflammation slow metabolic efficiency create that “puffy weight” that feels different from fat It’s not always about needing to burn more… sometimes the body simply needs help to release. “Let us throw off everything that hinders…” — Hebrews 12:1 The body often follows the same principle. Why This Is So Common Right Now Modern life works against lymphatic flow: Sitting for long periods Chronic stress (which tightens everything) Dehydration + mineral depletion Tight clothing restricting circulation Lack of natural movement Your body isn’t failing you… It’s responding to the environment it’s been given. A Gentle, Natural Lymphatic Reset This is where we shift from frustration → support. Not extreme. Not overwhelming. Just simple, consistent practices that help your body do what it was created to do. 1. Hydration + Minerals — Not Just Water Water alone isn’t enough. Your cells need minerals to properly move fluid in and out. Think: sea salt in water mineral-rich foods consistent hydration throughout the day 2. Movement That Supports Flow You don’t need intense workouts. You need intentional movement. Rebounding — Mini Trampoline One of the most effective ways to stimulate lymph. The gentle up-and-down motion acts like a pump your body doesn’t have. Just a few minutes a day can make a difference. Vibration Plate This creates rapid muscle contractions that help: stimulate circulation move stagnant fluid wake up the lymphatic system Walking + Stretching Simple… but powerful. Consistency matters more than intensity. 3. Dry Brushing — A Simple Daily Reset Before you shower: use a natural bristle brush brush toward the heart light, upward strokes This helps: stimulate lymph flow exfoliate skin support circulation It takes 2–3 minutes… and adds up quickly. 4. Targeted Topical Support Sometimes the body benefits from localized stimulation, especially in areas where fluid tends to collect. This is where a very well-formulated lymphatic cream can be helpful. Our Lymph + Flow Massage Cream is a blend of herbs traditionally used for lymphatic support like: cleavers red clover violet leaf arnica cypress Can be applied with gentle upward massage to encourage movement. Used consistently after a shower, this becomes less of a product…and more of a daily ritual of supporting flow. 5. Castor Oil Packs — Deep, Restorative Support This is one of those old-world practices that continues to stand the test of time. Applied over areas like the abdomen, castor oil packs are often used to: support lymphatic movement encourage detox pathways calm inflammation It’s quiet… restorative… and deeply supportive. Ours is organic, hexane free, and cold pressed. 6. Herbal Support for Lymph + Inflammation Tinctures have long been used to gently support the body’s natural detox pathways. Some of our most trusted lymph-supportive herbs include: Cleavers → traditionally used to support lymphatic flow Red Clover → often used for purification and skin support Calendula → known for its soothing and lymph-moving properties Burdock Root → supports detoxification and helps reduce inflammatory burden Used consistently, these organic herbs can help support the internal side of what you’re doing externally. Your Daily Rhythm Morning hydrate with minerals light movement or rebounding herbal tincture support Before Shower Dry brushing After Shower Apply lymph-supportive cream with upward massage Evening Castor oil pack (a few times per week) What Many Women Begin to Notice When the lymphatic system is supported, the changes can feel subtle at first… then undeniable: less puffiness in the face reduced bloating a lighter feeling in the body smoother-looking skin improved sense of flow Not overnight transformation… But steady release instead of constant holding. A Final Thought If your body has felt like it’s holding onto everything… It may not need more force. It may just need support to let go. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 There is wisdom in learning when to push, and when to gently restore. Your body was created to move, to cleanse, and to heal - in Jesus name. ⚠️ Important FDA Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. - How to Heal Acne From the Inside Out (What Most People Aren’t Told)
Acne Isn’t a Skin Problem—It’s a Signal Acne is not happening because your skin is “bad.” It’s not because you haven’t found the right cleanser. And it’s definitely not something your body is doing against you. Acne is communication. Your body is speaking—and your skin is often where the message becomes visible. What Most People Get Wrong About Acne Most acne advice lives on the surface: Dry it out Scrub it off Kill the bacteria Cover it up And while those things might temporarily improve the appearance… they don’t address why it’s happening in the first place. So the cycle continues: clear → flare → clear → flare Because the root was never touched. The Root Cause of Acne (It’s Not Just One Thing) Acne is rarely caused by a single issue. It’s usually a combination of internal imbalances: Gut dysfunction Chronic inflammation Hormonal imbalance Blood sugar instability Microbial overgrowth (like candida) Your skin is the final output of what’s happening inside your body. If something is off internally, your skin often becomes the place it shows up. The Gut–Skin Connection (Where Healing Begins) Your gut and your skin are deeply connected. When your gut is functioning well: Nutrients are absorbed properly Inflammation stays regulated Your microbiome remains balanced But when your gut is compromised, it can lead to: Systemic inflammation Poor detoxification Disrupted skin barrier function Persistent, stubborn acne This is why you can have a “perfect” skincare routine and still struggle. Because the issue isn’t sitting on your skin—it’s coming through it. Candida Overgrowth and Acne (The Missing Piece) One of the most overlooked root causes of acne is candida overgrowth. Candida is a yeast that naturally exists in the body. But when it becomes overgrown, it can create a cascade of issues: Feeds on sugar and refined carbohydrates Produces byproducts your body must process Contributes to inflammation Disrupts the balance of your microbiome And one of the first places this imbalance often shows up? Your skin. Especially as: Stubborn breakouts Congestion that won’t fully clear Acne that keeps coming back What Fuels Acne (and Keeps It Coming Back) Before adding more solutions, it’s important to remove what may be feeding the problem: Excess sugar Highly processed foods Industrial seed oils Artificial ingredients and additives Chronic stress Overuse of harsh skincare products Many acne routines unknowingly make things worse by: Stripping the skin Disrupting the microbiome Triggering increased oil production What Your Body Actually Needs Healing acne isn’t about attacking your skin. It’s about supporting your body. That includes: Restoring gut balance Reducing inflammation Supporting detox pathways Nourishing your body with real nutrients Using topical products that work with your skin—not against it This is where real, lasting change begins. What Healing Can Look Like When you start addressing acne at the root, you may experience: A short adjustment period Mild purging as your skin renews Slower, steadier progress instead of overnight results But what you gain is something far more valuable than a quick fix: Skin that is actually functioning well. How to Build a Routine That Supports Healing Once your internal foundation is being supported, your topical routine should amplify that healing—not replace it. Cleanse without stripping. Encourage gentle renewal. Balance oil instead of fighting it. Hydrate your skin. Reset weekly. Target breakouts wisely. Consistency will always outperform intensity. Internal Support: Where Real Change Happens If acne is rooted internally, your healing must be too. Candida Cleanse Tea A gentle herbal blend designed to support detox pathways and help restore microbial balance. Burdock and dandelion support liver function, calendula supports skin health, and rooibos provides antioxidant support. Clear Skin (Skin Support) Tincture A concentrated herbal formula crafted to support internal balance and help address underlying contributors to acne. Oregon grape root, clove, and Ceylon cinnamon support microbial balance, while lemongrass and lemon rind aid digestion and detox pathways. If You’re Ready to Support the Process At Kingdom Come Home, we’ve created products that align with this inside-out approach—designed to support your skin, not fight it. Restore Gel Clarifying Cleanser A gentle daily cleanser that removes buildup while respecting your skin barrier and microbiome. Aloe vera, raw honey extract, neem oil, and plantain help soothe, clarify, and maintain balance without over-stripping. Restore Face Wash (Acne-Prone Skin) A more concentrated cleanse for those needing deeper clarification while still supporting skin health. Plant-based ash (plantain, cocoa, shea) helps detoxify, while coconut oil and natural ferments support the skin barrier. Redeemed Peel Pads (5% & 10%) A gentle exfoliation step that encourages skin renewal and helps keep pores clear without harsh abrasion. Glycolic and lactic acids resurface the skin, while niacinamide, green tea, cucumber, and blue tansy calm and support recovery. Let’s Be Clear Blemish Control Serum A botanical oil blend designed to help balance oil production and calm acne-prone skin. Jojoba mimics natural skin oils, while black cumin, tamanu, neem, and tea tree help clarify and support healing. Walk on Water Gel Moisturizer A lightweight, non-greasy hydrator that supports your skin barrier and helps regulate oil production. Hyaluronic acid draws in hydration, while apple, rosemary, and sunflower extracts provide antioxidant support. Clean Slate Purifying Clay Mask A weekly reset that helps draw out impurities and reduce congestion without over-drying the skin. Kaolin and bentonite clay detoxify, while willow bark, salicylic acid, tea tree, and plantain help clarify and calm. Restore Blemish Spot Treatment A targeted roller that supports individual breakouts by calming and clarifying without irritating surrounding skin. Tea tree, lavender, frankincense, and rosemary help reduce the appearance of redness while supporting recovery. A Different Way to Approach Acne Instead of asking: “How do I get rid of this?” Start asking: “What is my body trying to tell me?” Because your skin is not the problem. It’s the messenger. Final Thought You don’t need to fight your skin. You need to support it. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” – 3 John 1:2 Your body was created to function well. Sometimes it just needs the right support—and the space to do what it was designed to do. Blessings, Heidi Davis Co-Founder with Holy Spirit Kingdom Come Home
- Returning To Ancient Ways: The Timeless Beauty of Beef Tallow
In a world overflowing with trendy skincare ingredients and constantly changing beauty routines, sometimes the most powerful remedies are the ones God placed in creation from the very beginning. Beef tallow is a traditional skincare staple that has been used for centuries. It is returning to modern skincare for one simple reason. It works. Rich, nourishing, and remarkably compatible with human skin, grass-fed beef tallow offers benefits that modern moisturizers struggle to match. At Kingdom Come Home, we have embraced this ancient ingredient in several of our most loved formulations. Below is a deep look into why tallow is so transformative, how it supports a radiant complexion, and why it pairs beautifully with gentle botanicals, essential oils, and nutrient-rich ingredients. What Is Beef Tallow Beef tallow is a purified, nutrient-dense fat rendered from the suet of grass-fed cattle. Unlike chemical creams that sit on the shelves of most stores, tallow is a whole, natural substance that supports the skin instead of irritating it. Its structure is incredibly similar to the oils produced naturally by human skin, which makes it one of the most compatible moisturizers available. Why Tallow Works So Powerfully For Skin Tallow contains the same types of lipids found in healthy human skin, such as stearic acid, palmitic acid, oleic acid, and conjugated linoleic acid. Because our skin recognizes these lipids, tallow absorbs easily and provides deep nourishment. It strengthens the moisture barrier, softens rough or dry patches, and supports the skin in defending itself from irritation. This is why people with sensitive or reactive skin often see dramatic improvements very quickly. Packed With Fat-Soluble Vitamins Grass-fed beef tallow is naturally rich in vitamins that support healthy-looking skin. These include vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin K. These nutrients help refine the appearance of the skin, support elasticity, and nourish without the need for synthetic additives. Naturally Calming And Gentle Many commercial creams contain preservatives, artificial fragrances, and drying alcohols. These ingredients often lead to redness or irritation. Tallow is naturally soothing. It comforts dryness, supports the look of calmer skin, and creates a moisturized, healthy appearance. It is ideal for individuals with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea, or dryness related to inflammatory conditions. Concentrated And Long Lasting Because tallow is deeply nutrient-dense, you only need a very small amount. A single jar often lasts for months, making it an economical and effective choice. Supports The Skin Microbiome Healthy skin begins with a balanced microbiome. Tallow helps the skin maintain its natural pH and supports a healthy environment for beneficial microflora. It moisturizes without clogging the skin and allows the pores to breathe. This balance often results in a clearer and more radiant complexion. It cleanses while also conditioning the skin. It leaves the skin velvety soft and comfortably hydrated. It is wonderful for winter skin, eczema-prone children, and anyone sensitive to synthetic detergents. Natural Baby Beef Tallow Diaper Cream Tallow forms a breathable and protective barrier on delicate skin. It supports comfort and moisture balance without the petroleum found in many diaper creams. It is gentle enough for daily use. Manuka Honey And Tallow Lip Balm A soothing and restorative balm that nourishes dry or cracked lips. Manuka honey adds natural humectant and protective benefits, making it ideal for winter weather or overnight repair. Who Benefits Most From Tallow Skincare Tallow is an excellent choice for individuals with: Sensitive or reactive skin Mature skin Dry, flaky, or cracked skin Children and babies Eczema or psoriasis Compromised moisture barrier Winter or seasonal dryness It is gentle enough for the entire family and powerful enough to replace multiple products. A Return To Simplicity In a world filled with complicated skincare products, tallow brings us back to the basics. It reminds us that God designed creation with everything we need. Tallow works with the skin rather than against it. It restores softness, nourishment, and balance through the simplest ingredients. At Kingdom Come Home, our tallow products are created with love. We use grass-fed tallow, clean botanicals, and small batch production to ensure purity and quality. Your skin is your body's largest organ, and what you put on it matters. - Staying Healthy Through the Holiday Season
The holiday season is a time of joy, celebration, travel, gatherings, and reflection but it also brings colder weather, dry air, increased stress, and greater exposure to seasonal illness. As believers, we steward the bodies God has entrusted to us (1 Corinthians 6:19–20), and part of that stewardship is doing what we can to strengthen our health, nourish our immune system, and care for ourselves and our families. At Kingdom Come Home, we believe that God placed powerful remedies in His creation with herbs, plants, roots, and the miraculous work of the honeybee to support our wellness. Below you’ll find a Scripture-rooted guide to staying healthy this holiday season using food-based remedies, Kingdom Come Home tinctures, raw honey, and simple, time-tested recipes you can make right at home. Rooting Our Wellness in Scripture The Lord tells us plainly that His creation carries purpose: “The fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:12 “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.” Proverbs 17:22 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2 These verses remind us that God designed the earth to sustain us, body and soul. As we move through the busy and sometimes overwhelming holiday season, let us intentionally slow down, nourish our bodies, strengthen our immunity, and guard our peace. - Balancing Hormones Naturally: Returning to the Rhythm of the Garden
For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.” — Psalm 139:13 (NIV) Hormones are one of God’s most intricate and delicate systems. They act as messengers, carrying signals throughout the body that influence mood, metabolism, fertility, energy, and even our sense of peace. When they’re balanced, everything flows in harmony, but when they’re disrupted, it can feel like chaos inside. From stress to environmental toxins to processed foods and artificial hormones, modern living has pulled many women far from the natural rhythm God designed. But the answer isn’t found in synthetic solutions or quick fixes; it’s found in the simplicity of creation itself. Here at Kingdom Come Home, we believe that healing begins by returning to the garden. To the plants, rhythms, and rest that God provided from the very beginning. The Divine Design of Hormones Hormones are not the enemy; imbalance is. God created estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, thyroid hormones, and insulin to work together in perfect harmony. When one falls out of rhythm, others compensate, leading to symptoms like: • Fatigue or brain fog • Mood swings, anxiety, or irritability • Weight gain or loss resistance • Hot flashes or night sweats • Painful or irregular cycles • Low libido • Skin or hair changes The body isn’t broken, it’s calling for restoration. And the Lord, in His wisdom, filled the earth with everything we need to bring balance back. “He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate—bringing forth food from the earth.” — Psalm 104:14 (NIV) Foods That Help Balance Hormones Naturally Nutrition is one of the most powerful ways to support the endocrine system. The body depends on vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids from real food to make and regulate hormones. Eat from the Garden: • Cruciferous Vegetables: Broccoli, kale, cauliflower, and cabbage help the liver detox excess estrogen. • Healthy Fats: Coconut oil, olive oil, flaxseed, avocados, and wild salmon support hormone production. • Protein: Grass-fed beef, pastured eggs, and lentils help balance blood sugar and rebuild tissues. • Seeds: Pumpkin, sesame, flax, and sunflower seeds nourish reproductive hormones, especially during each phase of the menstrual cycle. • Fermented Foods: Sauerkraut, kefir, and kimchi restore gut balance, where much of hormone metabolism happens. • Herbs & Spices: Cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger help regulate insulin and inflammation. Avoid synthetic foods, plastic packaging, and anything refined. These contain endocrine disruptors that mimic estrogen and interfere with natural cycles. “And God said, ‘Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed… to you it shall be for food.’” — Genesis 1:29 (KJV) Lifestyle Rhythms That Heal Hormones Hormonal balance isn’t just about food; it’s about rhythm. God designed us to live in patterns of work and rest, light and dark, movement and stillness. 1. Rest and Renewal “In vain you rise early and stay up late… for He grants sleep to those He loves.” — Psalm 127:2 (NIV) Sleep is sacred. It’s during deep rest that the body restores hormones and detoxifies. Aim for 7–9 hours of peaceful rest, and give your body permission to slow down. 2. Gentle Movement Movement is medicine. Walk, stretch, dance, or strengthen but do so in joy, not punishment. Exercise regulates cortisol and balances insulin. 3. Stress Reduction Prayer, worship, and deep breathing bring the nervous system into peace. When cortisol falls into balance, every other hormone follows. 4. Sunlight Morning sun helps regulate melatonin and cortisol. 5. Detox and Support A healthy liver and gut are essential for hormone metabolism. Drink plenty of water, eat fiber-rich foods, and consider herbal supports like dandelion, milk thistle, or nettle. Wild Yam: The Botanical Balancer Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa) is often referred to as “nature’s progesterone.” It supports the body’s ability to produce and regulate progesterone naturally, helping bring peace and rhythm back to a woman’s cycle. Benefits of Wild Yam: • Supports balanced estrogen and progesterone • Relieves PMS, cramping, and bloating • Reduces menopausal symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats • Encourages fertility and healthy cycles • Promotes calmness and emotional well-being We offer it in both a tincture and a cream. Tincture or Cream — Which One Is Right for You? Both our Wild Yam Cream and Wild Yam Tincture offer gentle, natural support for hormone balance. The difference lies in how they work. The Cream is applied topically allowing the active plant compounds to absorb directly through the skin and into the bloodstream. It’s ideal for those who prefer a slow, steady release or want to target symptoms like hot flashes, mood changes, or cycle discomfort. The Tincture is taken internally — offering a systemic, deeper level of support. Because it works through digestion and circulation, it helps regulate the entire endocrine system, supporting long-term hormonal harmony from within. Many women find that combining the two — using the cream daily and the tincture as a deeper internal tonic — creates the most balanced and holistic approach. “The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden.”— Isaiah 58:11 (NKJV) Fenugreek: The Herb of Strength and Sweetness Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) has been cherished since biblical times for its balancing and nourishing properties. It supports both female and male hormone health and encourages metabolic balance. “And the leaf thereof for medicine.” — Ezekiel 47:12 (KJV) Benefits of Fenugreek: • Balances estrogen and testosterone • Boosts natural libido • Supports milk supply in nursing mothers • Stabilizes blood sugar and insulin • Aids digestion and nutrient absorption • Strengthens hair, skin, and nails Chaste Tree Berry (Vitex): The Hormone Whisperer Sometimes called the “women’s balancing herb,” Chaste Tree Berry (Vitex agnus-castus) has been used for centuries to gently guide the body back into hormonal alignment, especially for women dealing with irregular cycles, PMS, or menopausal changes. “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV) Benefits of Chaste Tree Berry: • Supports progesterone production • Helps regulate menstrual cycles • Eases PMS, mood swings, and breast tenderness • Assists in fertility and ovulation support • Calms menopausal symptoms naturally • Promotes a healthy pituitary-ovarian connection Returning to the Kingdom Way of Healing Healing hormones naturally is not about chasing perfection, it’s about returning to rhythm. The same rhythm God set in motion when He said, “Let there be light.” When we choose real food over chemicals, rest over rush, prayer over pressure, and the plants He created over synthetic replacements, we begin to restore not just our bodies, but our peace. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” — 3 John 1:2 (NKJV) Let your healing journey be one of surrender — back to God’s perfect design, where harmony, health, and holiness dwell together. ⚠️ Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
