When using herbal tinctures during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, we recommend choosing alcohol-free glycerite tinctures whenever possible.
If you’re using an alcohol-based tincture, you can easily remove most of the alcohol before taking it.
How to Remove Alcohol from Tinctures:
• Add your tincture dose to 2 ounces of freshly boiled water.
• Let it sit uncovered for about 5–10 minutes.
• This allows the alcohol to evaporate while keeping the herbal benefits intact.
This gentle approach makes tinctures safer and more suitable for expecting and nursing mothers.
