Oil of Oregano
• Hand made. Hand poured.
• Shelf Life - 2 years
Oil of Oregano is a potent herbal antimicrobial that effectively tackles bacterial, yeast, fungal, and parasitic infections. It offers powerful antioxidant protection, immune system support, and helps relieve various respiratory conditions. It's grown in my herbalist backyard without the use of pesticides of any kind. The oil is extracted from the hand-picked leaves using steam-distillation, ensuring that the oil is pure and chemical-free.
Before Big Pharma, herbalists, and traditional doctors used oregano to effectively treat infections of all kinds, both topically and internally. As an antimicrobial, it has the power to directly kill bacteria, viruses, intestinal parasites, and fungal infections.
Oil of oregano is no average herb. As excessive use renders many antibiotics ineffective against resistant strains, natural remedies become increasingly valuable. Oil of oregano is one of the few remedies that can fight superbugs, including the methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
Oil of oregano is also a powerful antioxidant capable of scavenging free radicals and preventing cellular damage. It is a more potent antioxidant than vitamin E, and is four times higher in antioxidants than blueberries, and 12 times higher than oranges. Oil of oregano has anti-inflammatory qualities as well as demonstrated anti-mutagenic and anti-carcinogenic properties.

A Word on Quality:
Not all oregano oils are the same! Many commercial oregano oils are steam distilled, which can strip away some of the plant’s natural complexity. At Kingdom Come Home, we take a different approach. Our cold extraction method preserves the full spectrum of beneficial compounds, including flavonoids and terpenes, which contribute to the oil’s therapeutic properties. This results in a milder, yet still powerful oil that retains all of its wellness benefits. Do not judge quality, or potency based on how bitter the oil tastes.
Age – Dosage:
Ages 15 and Up: 6 drops in a small glass of water. Can be taken daily if needed.
Caution: Due to the potency of oregano, long-term daily use is not recommended.
*Oil of oregano should not be used for children or infants. Additionally, pregnant or breastfeeding women should refrain from using it. It is important to note that oregano oil can interfere with some medications, including lithium and diuretics. In terms of storage, oil of oregano will remain shelf stable on the counter and can last for several years if refrigerated.

Oil of Oregano
What is an Herbal Tincture?
Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking the bark, berries, leaves (dried or fresh), plants, mushrooms, flowers, cones, or roots from one or more plants in alcohol. The alcohol extracts the medicinal properties, concentrating them as a liquid.
Is an herbal tincture, capsule, or powder stronger?
Tinctures are stronger because they are more concentrated and bypass digestion by going directly into the bloodstream.
Can I take multiple tinctures at a time?
Yes, however, you will want to research if the plants work together or against each other. A simple Google search will tell you.
How do I remove the alcohol if I am alcohol sensitive?
Kingdom Come Home tinctures can be dropped into boiling tea. This will evaporate the alcohol leaving just the medicinal properties behind.
Suggested dosing can be found on the back of each tincture bottle. However, we understand that the text may be difficult to read. Click here to access our comprehensive tincture guide - available in a printable PDF format.
