Why Go Loose Leaf?
Loose leaf tea is typically of higher quality and stays fresher longer than tea bags. When steeped, loose leaves have more room to expand and absorb water, allowing for a fuller extraction of vitamins, minerals, flavors, and aromas. In contrast, tea bags limit this process due to their smaller size, and often contain finely ground tea (dust and fannings), which loses its freshness and flavor more quickly.
Loose leaf tea not only delivers a richer flavor and greater health benefits but is also a more eco-friendly option, generating less waste than tea bags.
Directions: Put 1 teaspoon of lung + leaf herbs in a tea infuser. Pour boiling water over the herbs and steep for 10-15 minutes. Add honey and lemon if desired. Drink 2-3 times daily for relief.
